OS NBA Players Rating: Player #8 - Elton Brand

Elton Brand . . . such a talented player, but has never found his way out of "division cellar" hell. Coming out of Duke, Brand got placed onto a post-MJ Bulls team that quickly turned to one of the worst teams in the NBA. Despite putting up great numbers, a man can only do so much for a team like the Bulls. Fortunatly for Brand, he heard that he was getting traded. Unfortunatly, it wasn't to a winning team. Elton Brand now plays for the Clippers and with Maggette as his partner, he makes up one half of one of the most exciting duos in the NBA. Although often going unnoticed, Maggette and Brand have been near the top of the duo scoring list. By playing in the big man conference, the West, Brand has not gotten enough of the All-Star recognition he deserves due to KG, TD, and Dirk. Elton Brand still comes to work hard every night and as averaged a double double in points in rebounds for every season of his career. Now, with the help of Maggette and Livingston, Brand looks to fight and push the Clippers into their first playoffs since the 1996-1997 season.

I gave him an 8 hes a great player but he cant get his teams past "suck" status. He's the token great player stuck on crappy teams like Bob McAdoo and Pete Maravich were
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

I agree, he's at least top 5 in the NBA as far as consistency. He deserves to be on a winning team. I say he's a 9.

i gave him a 9. He averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, and shot 49%. Throw in about 2 blocks and 3 assits, and that is the mark of a good player, too bad his team just can't win.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

It just sucks how he can't get on the All-Star team though. He is probably the MOST deserving player that hasn't been on the All-Star team in regular fasion (the one time he did make it, was when he replaced an injured Shaq).
