Still, it's just ridiculous how horrible these refs always seem to be in big Raptors games. JV gets foul for someone running into him from behind. Lowry gets a technical for the ball hitting his foot and going towards the sidelines. DeRozan not getting calls he gets so often in other games.

There's absolutely no way it's a coincidence that in two different sports, players on Toronto teams have a problem with officials. If it was a national team or something, then maybe you could say something about guys complaining, but it's two different sports with completely different/unrelated players having exact same issue.

Been watching NBA for multiple decades, but at times, I'm getting to the point of why bother watching when games just get decided by officials and superstars literally do whatever they want and get away with anything because NBA just cares about money and ratings.

If you can shoot a mid range, it really baffles me that you can't shoot 3s at least respectably. Just look at Horford, milsap, speights, kanter, pau, aldridge... there are a bunch of examples

Nobody cares about Toronto to the point where they're trying to screw them, man.

We hear this same thing every time they lose to a team equal or better than them. We'll probably hear that same mess tonight.

No. Tonight will be about the lack of rest after leaving it on the court last night in an emotional loss.

Can't believe I'm saying this on OS as both fan groups have annoyed me at one point over the years but I really like watching the Bulls and Lakers play. I like watching Rondo and "old man Wade" because they just have that old school game. I like watching the Lakers because of those young cats blossoming in a very entertaining offense. Defense is still shaky but that offense is beautiful - more beautiful than Golden State's because it doesn't have a bunch of "bad shots" going in.

I hope my Sixers find a bright young coach like Walton soon. Brent Brown just isn't doing it for me anymore. I know he's had bad teams but we seriously look like a YMCA team if the ball isn't in Embiid or Okafor's hands.

That is by league definition a technical foul though. If the ball goes into the stands from a player reaction it's supposed to be an automatic technical.

They can also call a technical for not giving the ball to the ref after a foul is called, so technically they could have gotten for two different things.

I only saw a few minutes of the game, so I can't comment on much else other than that play.

This is a joke, right? Sixers are my team, too and Brett Brown is an excellent basketball mind with a great pedigree that I would take 10 times out of 10 over not only Luke Walton but other coaches as well. And lol @ Walton already being considered a "bright young coach" 12 games into the season. He came from Golden State to a team that has young talent that can play a similar way and a *much* different talent set than Philly has (not to mention what Brett has had to deal with not only in the games this season but the past few years).

Walton 12 games in is definately still old and stupid but he could get young and bright if he keeps it up.

Well, at least give him 13 games before we determine all that.
