    Optimism in Dallas

Well, after one game in the season, I'm happy with Dallas' new players.

Harris looks like he's going to be a goodun'. Dampier showed some good things as well.

I just like the way this team is made up. Now they have a PG who can defend and is young/fresh/fast.

Steve Nash is greatness, but I'm glad he's in Pho.

I think this team's going to surprise people.

I love Marquis Daniels. It's ghey, but I do.

    Dirk is Dirk.

I know it's only one game, and I know that Devin Harris has only played one game in his career, but I like the way things are looking.

    Harris: 8 pts 7 assists 2 steals

I was excited before the season started, and I haven't seen anything to temper my enthusiasm.

well sniv, even if we had lost the opener, i still liked the way the team is now constructed before last nite. We now have a legitimate C. See the block in the 4th when the Kings were making a run. Haven't seen anything like that before here. I love this team. My interest in the Mavs is back after being disgusted with how last year's team was put together. You know the first 3 home games they have $40 tickets for $25. I wish i could see the Grizz this weekend but i can't. I'll probably see Golden St. on Monday nite though.

The Mavs are intelligently constructed for the first time in years. They looked a little disjointed at times, but with 7 new players, it will take time. Plus we went 10 deep!!!! When booth and Benga play we can realistically play 12 guys in a game. If we keep that rotation we will be very fresh for the playoffs!!! Plus, there is no better way to start the season than to beat the hated Queens!!

I just wish Cuban hadn't raised the ticket prices. Cheapest ones used to be 10 bucks but now they're 19.

How did Josh Howard look last night?? Did Terry respond well to coming off the bench??

Terry would be happy if his job was just to wipe Nellie's *** during halftime. As long as it's in Dallas and they're winning.

He's so happy to be in Dallas. Last night when he was on the bench, he was cheering and greatly supporting the team on the floor. And when he came into the game, he'd motion for the crowd to get louder. He's probably more happy being in Dallas than any other Mav.

Josh looked ok last night. He did good things, but he got into some foul trouble early on.

                            excellent win tonight for Dallas.

106-91 over their new conference opponent New Orleans.

Devin Harris must have done something to piss Nellie off as he only played 9 minutes tonight.

Baron Davis looked like a selfish player tonight. I don't know how he plays usually cause I haven't really payed attention, but he was taking bad shots and not looking for open guys all night. At points guys would seem pissed off at him, and he seemed pissed off with them.
