OS NBA Players Rating: Player #9 - Latrell Sprewell

Latrell "I choke . . . literally" Sprewell is next up on our voting poll. He is known to be a very good slasher and can also burn you with the jumpshot as well. Starting his career in Golden State, Sprewell was a high-fly act and immediatly contributed to the Warriors team. Despite giving good, strong outings each and every game, Sprewell was actually waived by the Warriors during the 1997-1998 season, only for his contract to be re-instated the following month. Once the season came to an end, Sprewell was shipped off to New York to team up with Allan Houston and Patrick Ewing. In 1999, Sprewell helped the 8 seeded Knicks to a trip to the NBA Finals, with a date with Tim Duncan and the Spurs. With star center, Patrick Ewing, out, Sprewell looked to put the team on his shoulders, and provided a great effort. Despite his efforts, the Twin Towers of San Antoinio proved to be too much to handle, as the Knicks lost the series in 5 games. Once again, Sprewell was traded for the 2004 season, this time to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Along with Kevin Garnett and Sam Cassell, Sprewell helped take the Wolves for the first time since KG's era. They proceeded on to the Western Conference Finals, where they fell to the Hall of Fame group of Gary Payton, Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, and Shaquille O'neal. Now, Sprewell is facing trouble with management, and has threatened to flat out stop trying for Wolves this season. By creating locker room drama, it will be no surprise to see Sprewell playing in a different jersey next year.

Again, this is on a scale of today's talent. This also means that some players can be voted as a 1/10 if they are the worst of the worst.

i gave him a 7. Still an above average player, but you can't deny the fact that garnett makes him way better then he is.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

                I give him a 7.

He still has good game, and his attitude on the court can really fire up a team. Off the court is a different story.

I agree with everyone else, seven.

                        Great player but only above-average.

6, this guy hasn't averaged over 20 ppg since he played for Golden State. He's in a very good position in Minnesota, he's great as a 2nd or 3rd option but can't carry a team. And I weigh the off the court stuff pretty heavily, the guy acts like he's doing the NBA a favor by playing there. Talent of an 8, but with the large number of better SG/SF's in the league and his poor attitude, I knock him down to a 6.
