This year has been the worst. And it waited until the end for one of the worst gut punches. Really going to miss Craig giving his sideline reports.

    RIP Craig.

sad day. I actually came to OS searching for this thread, went to entertainment first to see if it was there. Was at my work Christmas party when I found out. I knew he was sick and that this day was coming but it was still a shock. RIP Sager, you were the best!

Just watched the 30 for 30 about Lombardis redskins, and now today we lose another great one from Cancer. Def puts life in perspective, if it can take these great men away from us, we are all on notice.

Very sad to wake up to this. That documentary brought tears to my eyes.

              RIP man.

That's just sad man. **** cancer.

I am glad though, after watching that documentary, that before he passed he was able to see how much people really appreciated him.

                RIP

I'm not even gonna lie. This hit me hard. Craig Sager had such an infectious personality and just a love for life that you couldn't help but appreciate and admire it. This really blows man. I've been watching Sager for so long I feel like I just lost an uncle. Man. I can't even put it into words. Be easy Craig, rest well we will never forget you.

I heard on the Tony Kornheiser show that Odell Beckham Jr. wore some cleats or something in honor of Sager, and the NFL has fined him. Any truth to this story? If so, wow!

Yep I think it was 18000 and yes it is stupid that if you try to honor someone you get into trouble for it. One of the stupidest things about sports.
