    Re: most overrated player...

I think alot of people think he is overrated because the Cavs are miserable. After this year I think people won't say that.

I think odom is a lesser garnett in every aspect of the game injured or not.

Richard hamilton is overated he cant penetrate nearly as well as stackhouse.

and Garnett is overpayed he gets paid as much as 2 max players, the only person who deserves as much as that is shaq.

Garnett isn't overated, he is just unselfish, if he was a little more greedy, he'd be averaging atleast 25-15-5

Nash isn't overrated - his effort allows him to overachieve IMO. If you want overrated, I think Penny WAS an overrated player back in the day. He was nothin' once Shaq left the Magic and look at him now.....just a shadow of his potential....

                Best players out there!

what do rebounds have to do with being selfish? lol
KG has potential dont get me wrong, but ppl are like ooo KG, ooo KG , the guy is no better thean C-Webb whos also overated. I honestly think these are the top 10 in the NBA regarless of how their tema does...

                1) Shaq- Who can stop him??? NOBODY its a retorical question u dumb Bych lol
                2) T-MaC- If he had a dominating outside jumper it would be all over.
                3) Dirk Nowitzki- Shooting is great as is his improving rebounding and penetration. Will be called one of top 5 by the next year by everyone that has at least a half of a brain.
                4) Jason Kidd- Wow , look wat he can do, need improve on 3's but got the rest on lock (better than 40% of the starting centers in the league at rebounding)
                5) AI- He has amazing skillz. Arguobly the best penetrater in the league and outsisde shooting is o so diffuclt t defend cuz of his handle! If this guy was 6-6 hed be the greatest of all time but height has bothered him and as his reputation! AI clean it up and get back to da finals even w/ Bych Van Horn and prove them all wrong, then ull be in my top 3 !!!!!!!!
                6) Tim Duncan- Great player but needs to become more of aleader.
                7) Paul Pierce- Great talent, Nice post moves, great thrre point shooter and defender. Let's hope Caron Butler can do at least sumthing like this guy can.
                8) Kobe Bryant- Yes, hes 7th. I think he reached his max potential and is gonna be one of the best players but where would L.A be without Shaq? Maybe the 8th seed ??? if Lucky!
                9) Kevin Garnett- Whoever has this guy in the top 5 is mentally ill. He has potential to be there but until he gets 25 ppg and 10 rpg and 5 asg IN THE PLAYOFFS and shows some leadership instead of relying on role players like chauncey Billups hell be lower than 7!
                10) Vince Carter- Hell be back and probably unstoppable, so be ready to have him at 6 by the time the season ends.

Great players but not there yet

~Shareef Abdur Rahim- Get your team in the playoffs, the talent is there!!!!
~Antoine Walker- Will forever be in the Shadow of THE TRUTH Paul Pierce but so was Scottie Pippen behind MJ! Keep it up and dont be sellfish!
~DaJuan Wagner- Will prob. be the next AI in 3 years!
~Steve Francis- Now that theyve found out why you were always migraining lol you should get ur 20 6 and 9 and reach real all-star level.
~J. O'neal- Keep working on ur game bro, ur almost there!
~Dre Miller- Pick up scoring a lil notch , try to get like 17 ppg and 12 apg and ur an all-star!!
~Ray Allen- Okay! Uve got the shot and are working on your penetration. Try to be more physical and add a small rebounding aspect to your game.
~Caron Butler- Really think hell be one of the contestants for ROY I mean hes got it all. Dont be shy bro, Zo aint here no mo, so streal the sho! (im a rapper!!!)
~B. Davis- Skillz on a good team, keep it up and dunt let the WC's get ur down!
~Rasheed Wallace- Fix ur temper and beat the Lake Show
~Massive potential but not in Portland.
~Grant Hill- boy if ur healthy as ive heard, ull be an all-star with 20-5-5 this year!
~Shawn Marion- Skillz skillz skillz, keep up the improvement and ull be in my top 10 in 2004.5 lol
~Ginolibi- A future star no doubt and should reach Kobe's level by 2006!
~Bibby- Led SAC past the Lakers but not past the refs!!!!
~C-Webb- Stop being a byacth and shoot wen u need to!!
~Peja- If only he wasnt injured last year, Serbia would have a ring around their finger
~Malone and Stockton- Still have it? If they make the playoffs this year, I will cry that they never won a championship!
~Jordan- MJ is on of the best players in the league but I think itll be harder for him this year than Hill!
~Stackhouse- Reinveinted his selfish-self in the Motor City but if he does it again here, I will respect Stack all the way!!

Here are sum ppl i Left out-

Houston , Spree and Dyss must prove themselves by makign the playoffs (3 -20 point scorers) but then again the Bucks had the same situation last year!!! Do 99 all over again!!! pleeeze

Marbury is way too, i dunt know but he doesnt belong there!

GP is good but I hate him and the way he approaches the game, his love for it was lost and the nerd wants a contract for 6 or 7 years !!! He should retire in 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nick-T as I cal lhim form the Nuggets will be the Next Dirk but can the Nuggz wait 3 years?? With Lebron nic-t and Nene there, I expect them making a run at the title in 2007 lolol(year wen shaq, kobe, and kings will all be long gone)

Rashard Lewis got massive oney and his agent is amazing, but he dint deserve it!! Give me an all-star "type" year like 20 8 and 5 year w/ a shooting % in the high 40's (like 45 at least)

Nash and Finley are great players but they cant really do more , and more isnt necessary with Dirk. I rele dunt understand it and am confusedon who theyre missing!

Hedo Turkoglu has a nice future and with skillz of Bonzi Wells, Hell get more time even with the emergence of G. Wallace . Maybe hell be a top 20 in 2 yrs !!!

Yao Ming and J. Will were not in this year cuz I wanna see them prove somethong. BTW Mike Dunleavy is way overater

                  Re: most overrated player...

I think Garnett is overrated since there is hype around him but he can't deliver when his team needs him, like in playoffs. He needs to take over when his team is losing.

Kobe= Hell nah he is not overrated, he has 3 championship rings in which he played a big role and at the same time he plays HARD on defense and offense.

Iverson= This guy has the biggest heart out of all the players in the nba. Thats all i gotta say about him.

I also think Tim Duncan is a lil bit underrated, i mean people just don't talk about him as much as about some other players.

I mean this with no offense to anybody but Kobe Bryant is not the most overrated player in the league (and no I do not LIKE him at ALL) but rather it is his partner- SHAQUILLE O'NEAL. Ye,s blah blah scores points, rebounds, yada yada, all he can do his dunk. I mean I realize he is dominant in points but the guy is a lazy bum who isn't a great basketball player.

i agree somewhat...i think he doesnt have as much skill as most nba players and that he is very limited in what he can do...but he doesnt need much skill with that much power and strength, hes also very quick so i guess he is overrated for his skill level but not for his greatness

                        Ben Wallace:
It showed in the championships earlier this summer. He is a "piston-pardon the pun" incredible energy. No doubt he can control a game on the defensive end and plays well above his size and postion (center). However, he is very limited on the offensive end and IMO one breakout year doesn't qualify for all his hype. He has been a solid player for years but he needs consistant seasons of performing at such a high level and to develop an offensive game. He needs a well balanced arsernal to be a superstar. It may not hurt if the Pistons play him at his normal position (Power forward) for him to improve.

So you saying if a basketball player can shoot dribble jump and somehow score he is a great player (most kids on the street can do that) where shaq can't dribble that good and that makes him overrated? This guy is not overrated, you know why? Because he lives up to all the hype, NOBODY CAN STOP HIM, and you saying he is overrated? So why don't all the nba centers gain some weight and hit the gym, instead of crying how they can't stop him. IM sorry but shaq is not overrated.

Also, if you ask any nba coach right now , they would probably take shaq over ANY basketball player in the nba right now, and thats a fact. I can't believe you said shaq is overrated.
