    2003 Draft

Let me just go on the record as saying i'm a huge Chris bosh fan.Watched him some at GT and you really saw the he had great talent around the rim and on the perimeter too...

Now I go back to the 2003 draft where the raptors had the number 4 pick.At that time,Bosh made so much sense cause our front court was miserable with 55 year old Antonio Davis.

But I have to wonder at times though, what if we had taken Wade.Him and VC would become one of the best duo's in the league and they'd complement each other beautifully snce both players are very unselfish and don't play 1 on 5 like some stars.

Right now,i'd prolly still would've taken Bosh but I always have to wonder...

Who would you guys have chosen, considering the Raps frontcourt situations and the fact that we had a lot of swingmen at that time.

I still would have gone with Bosh. Bigmen are always hard to find and HE played Center last yr and played it well for a rookie. He's moved to PR this year I think right? Either way, he's developing nicely and I'll take a good bigman over a good guard.

Anyways, I agree with Evil. Picking up Bosh was a good move.

You can't do "what ifs" when it comes to the draft. No one knows how it will turn out.. so the Raptors took what they needed... a big man... instead of taking a risk on a guard who no one really knew how he would fare in the NBA.

I mean... who knew it would be such a big deal when Bowen was picked ahead of MJ.
