That'd be the first finales in the history of the game without Lebron James in it.

3 years for $12 Mil with a player option in the final year.

Surprised they signed him for that long. Not even sure he fits on THIS particular Pacers team.

        Remaining schedule:

        Wizards:
        @ Clippers
        @ Jazz
        @ Warriors
        vs Hornets
        @ Knicks
        vs Heat
        @ Pistons
        @ Heat

        Raptors:
        vs Hornets
        vs Pacers
        vs 76ers
        @ Pacers
        @ Pistons
        vs Heat
        @ Knicks
        @ Cavs

Don't you think Raptors schedule is easier? Not to mention Raptors win tiebreaker vs Wizards. And Raptors only game vs a team better than them is last game of year @ Cavs where we'll probably see bench vs bench and Raptors have the better bench.

It's actually kinda crazy to think that there are a lot of kids around now who don't know a Finals matchup without LeBron in it. It'd be kinda like that one year the 76ers got to the Finals in the 60s after Boston went to like nine straight. It was that crazy a stretch that the Warriors had left Philly and been replaced by a different team before they stopped Boston.

How does posting the schedule answer the question though?

The Wizards can win out and make that tiebreaker pointless so again, based on how they've looked lately, what makes you think they'll drop? Especially considering they have the 3rd best record in the league since Jan. 1?

That does answer the question. You said what makes me think they'll drop. I posted the schedule showing that based on remaining strength of schedule, that's what makes me think they'll drop. They've had 3rd best record since January 1st, but it's still just a 1 game lead over a team who has a more favorable schedule than them. Realistically, Wizards could finish 6-2 to end the season which is still a great finish, but based on Raptors schedule, they should finish at least 7-1. Wizards win out guarantees them 3rd and probably even 2nd too, but just being realistic based on remaining schedule.

Any game without Lowry is a tossup imo.

And if Celtics hold on to 1st, I don't see the rush to move up to 3rd. 4th is a nice comfy spot right now.

If the Cavs lounge in the 2nd spot then the infidels up North can take #3.

Not that it matters in the end.

                        Durant News

The most likely comeback window for Durant, as long as his progress persists, is Golden State's final three home games, league sources say.

And Lowrys injury status is unknown it seems like. Raptors doctors never knew about his injury, but he went to NY and suddenly found out he's out over a month(4-6 weeks projection). I think it's been 4-5 weeks, but Raptors have no idea when he'll be back.

This isn't the first time(more like 4th-5th time this season alone) that Raptors doctors have no idea about the extent of a guys injury and he's been out at least a week longer than they claimed.

Thomas has 20 points at halftime vs Bucks and the Thunder are clearly trying to replicate what they did against the Mavericks, down 11 at the end of the 3rd against the Magic

Bucks are looooooooong. Celtics look so tiny next to them. It's like watching Kentucky play Dartmouth in college hoops.
