Apparently, we're catching **** from folks because we rested guys last night against the Bulls.

Even heard one journalist go as far as to say, 'They've been hot as of late, there's no need to rest their guys". We're a 20-62 team, if they don't go sit down with that nonsense and trying to make this an issue again.

Season over, does anybody else usually think about their own All-NBA teams or am I just a sportswriter in my head and I'm the weirdo?

Anyway, since I haven't really thought too much into defense, I have my 3 All-NBA teams and two All-Rookie teams.

          1st team All-NBA:
          B: Westbrook, Harden
          F: LeBron, Leonard, Gobert

          2nd team All-NBA:
          B: Thomas, DeRozan
          F: Durant, Cousins, Davis

          3rd team All-NBA:
          B: Curry, Wall
          F: George, Butler, Towns

          1st team All-Rookie:
          B: Ferrell, Brogdon
          F: Ingram, Saric, Embiid

          2nd team All-Rookie:
          B: Ulis, Hield
          F: Brown, Chriss, W. Hernangomez

If Skal had played more for the Kings I'd have him ahead of Chriss.

I actually think this is a complaint that reflects the mood of journalists and fans across the board and is not just reflective of your team. This has been the year of "resting starters" while it's not a new phenomenon it's something that's gone to new heights this year and has rankled quite a few feathers.

There's nothing anyone can really do about it and I would expect the complaints to keep on coming if it continues ESPECIALLY if one of the top tier teams that have rested their starters a lot this year gets upset in the first round of the playoffs.

Random thing, but this is first time since 01/02-02/03 that there's been back to back seasons where all playoff teams in the NBA finished at least .500.

I don't know how I'd take it. I can take watching my team lose in an attempt to win, or even lose on purpose in an attempt to win in the future, but if we don't even have our pick, I'd be like whats the point? You needed to get the young guys some burn? The team sucks, I can't imagine they've been sitting young guys all year trying to pimp veterans. Is it just, the season is over, no need to risk injury at this time of the year? The season was over when it began. I dunno, I can't wrap my head around this. This is one of the situations when it seems like there's nothing in the way, no legitimate reason to deprive the fans entertainment, and they did it anyway.

I don't care if you disagree with Brooklyn resting guys, just don't tell me it's because they cheated Miami. Saw this being said yesterday. Brooklyn didn't owe Miami a thing.

And on the other side of the Bridge, you got folks wondering what the hell the Knicks are doing trying to win basketball games right now.

You know it's a no win with the media.

Let's be real here, there's no entertainment being deprived from a 20-62 team holding guys out for the last game of the year, lol.

Shoot, the Hawks held out 4 starters last night and not a peep was made from anyone despite the fact it was on ESPN. But they had a legit reason(seeding and matchup were already set)to do so.

I feel you, I don't really think it's some crime against humanity or anything. I've just gotten into the habit of defending teams resting players when it makes sense, I don't know what to say when I see it and it doesn't make sense. I'm looking for a reason for this. I just don't get it.

Man at least the Hawks weren't playing for nothing. Brooklyn had a damn job to do that they didn't do.

Yeah Heat fans were going off on twitter last night lol. The irony though is Miami was also gifted their last 2 wins because teams rested.
