But people say these things for a reason? He has to do so much, they almost only win games when he is playing god-mode. That's the whole point of why people say that, that's why people have him in the MVP conversation even though he's a 6th seed.
People act like you can't have one without the other. If your team is absolute trash while you're off the floor they are still going to be absolute trash on nights he doesn't play well. If they win games they shouldn't win and he's dropping a 50 point triple double then yes he should get that type of "he was amazing" reaction. Why would he not.
It's logical reasoning. No **** if the team is bad and they win when he's a freak it's going to get rewarded towards him. What should they say? Man Oladipo's 15 points on 30% sure was nice tonight. Or Kanter's 18 points on pretty much all assists from Westbrook sure were amazing.. I mean you gotta at least be a little bit realistic here...
This is like all the people who wanted to stopping giving LeBron so much credit because Mo Williams made an All-Star team.. like ****, at some point you have to use some logic on what's fueling the wins here..
