Doesn't round 2 start on Monday? I think I heard Cavs series is Monday. So other east match would be Tuesday

If Wizards and Celtics both win Friday than their semifinals matchup starts Sunday. If either were to lose there would be a game 7 played instead.

I remember sitting on the edge of my parents’ bed, watching the ’97 NBA Finals (MJ vs. Malone). They had this huge king-size bed in this tiny room, and in the corner there was an old Little Tikes hoop. My two older brothers had already beaten it up pretty good, but it was still standing. The thing was, there was no room to move around and dribble. I could just sit on the edge of the bed and shoot.

So I did what every kid does. I was clutching the little ball at my chest and shooting with both hands.

My mom wasn’t having it.

She played ball at Kentucky State, where she met my dad, and then she went on to be a high school coach and athletic director. She was like the O.G. of basketball where we lived outside St. Louis. She had five boys at home, and she was without a doubt the Mama Lion. She wasn’t about to have her middle son shooting from the chest. Nope.

I remember this, clear as day: She took my left arm and held it behind my back, and she put the ball in my right hand, and she showed me the stroke.

The easy thing to do is blame Kidd. Truth is, we are starting 2 rookies, Middleton is sick, we're sloppy with the ball, Refs are getting in the player's heads. None of those are Kidd's fault.

Lol we run no offense. We just give to Giannis and hope he creates. It's terrible basketball.

No adjustments. Terrible rotations. He is a terrible coach when it comes to actual you know, strategy.

I agree that that's what it's been for the last 2 and 1/2 games. But what about game 3? We had like 29 assists. We moved the ball great the entire month of March. The players are responsible for this as well, unless you think Kidd is telling them to stand around and not move the ball. It's a young team that is still learning. Playoff pressure got to them.

Prunty and Sweeney are as much to blame if you want to go the coach route, because this is their offensive and defensive systems. I do agree that Kidd's rotations are often pretty bad.

I'm not a Jkidd supporter by no means, but when you allow a team to grab and hold you, your offense does become stagnate.

Plus, having Monroe sit on his rear end on the bench for all but 4 minutes drags down the offense, too.

I didn't expect to win this series, but it's pretty disappointing how it's ending after games 1 and 3 got my hopes up a little higher. We look lost. I just hope we go down with more of a fight than this.
