The trade still would have sucked but I don't get how the Bulls had to send them #16. If I was Minnesota I wouldn't have even had the nerve to ask for that lol.

Unless the Bulls were so cheap they didn't want to pay 2 first rounders...

How are you rebuilding when you give your own picks away while trading away an All-Star at the same time?

I mean, some of the things the Bulls are doing just look stupid. Hopefully they don't embarrass themselves the way the Knicks organization has done over the last 4 years or so.
You keep typing numbers and making them look wrong. Why does 17 look like that?

Danny Ainge thought Minnesota gave up too much.

That's the real take of the day.

I think this could be last year for D-Wade. Even though he wouldn't want to be in a rebuilding team, he has his reasons to stay. Already at home. He already said he doesn't need to ring chase since he has 3 rings. He has 24 million other reasons lol. At 35, he would get a lot less money elsewhere especially for a contender. Like only team would be Cleveland that makes sense, but I wouldn't see him as fit that takes them over Cleveland.

He should buyout and go back to Miami. He can still get his money and be appreciated for his career like it should be.

Don't the Bulls have a couple players (including Wade) that they can buy out? I'd tear it all down and go tank the season. It's better to go full ahead with a rebuild than doing half measures.

T Wolves are my official 2nd favorite team now. They should be fun to watch with some young stars and another year under a Thibodeau regime.

I see that making sense. I see him with 1-3 years(depending on health and level of play). He has his rings, so no need to ring chase. Already a first ballot hall of famer imo.

                      You talking about Rondo?

Man honestly I have no idea what they're doing but im sure Wade isn't with what Paxson was talking about.

That being a vet to a rebuilding team is not what he's going to do you can be sure of it. That might've been political talk but their direction says wade is not apart of that solution. If Jimmy is gone then Wade is too.

I will be following the T-Wolves as well. I think if all goes well Thibs will be coach of the year and the T-Wolves will make the playoffs.

Bulls just could be tanking a couple years. Have fun with that

Will be interesting to see how Wiggins does when he isn't getting nearly as many shots as last season. Gonna have to add more depth to his game.

I think they can be a playoff team in the West. It will be different this year. Last year was loaded with very young talent but didn't know how to win games. But this year will be Playoffs or bust. But I think Butler can take them over the edge. Established vet with great knowledge of system and can push the younger players. They will have Cap space. But they should save it because no real weakness on starting lineup and should save for future(Wiggins and KAT). If anything, some veterans off bench.
Legit shot at Playoffs for Minnesota. Grizzlies are getting older, Utah is unknown with Hayward, Clippers are a question mark only if CP3 leaves. Only team that didn't make it that I think could this year is Denver. NO needs shooters and a Point who can run things

Jimmy gonna drop 60 on us next year that first game.

One day after being traded from the Bulls to the Timberwolves, Butler spoke to the Sun-Times about his new team and his feelings about his old one.
