I really think if the Knicks get Monk, they'll end up being pretty happy. He'd be a steal at eight.

If Booker's game translated that quickly to the NBA, I don't see how Monk's doesn't, he can flat out shoot and score. Only reason he isn't higher on most Mocks, he had poor rebounding and assist numbers.

I think Frank is the top choice and I don't see any chance that he's off the board by 8. I guess Monk could fall but I'll be pretty surprised if he's there at 8. It'd be interesting to see what they do if both are on the board. I just want a damn guard, give me Frank, DSJr or Monk and I'll be happy.

The last time the Knicks took a guard in the Top 10 was friggin Trent Tucker in 1982.

Anyone else laughing at the 400-500 people who actually bought those shoes?

I can care less what people do with their money honestly.

I'm actually surprised he only sold 400-500. Seems like a super low number to me and nothing to be bragging about.

But then again maybe I shouldn't be surprised. Pretty generic shoe that costs a half grand, but I don't know I guess I just figure there's a lot stupid people out there willing to throw that money down to get Ball's 1st shoe and believe the hype that BBB is the next great thing or whatever those people believe lol.

I'd be telling everybody if I had made $250k in pre sales on a Kobe knockoff.

I dunno how much the production of each shoe will be but ehhh I doubt it's leaving him with less than $150k profit there.

You know Phil gonna fumble into a random playoff berth as a 7th or 8th seed somehow and buy himself another extension. That's just how these kind of situations go. I know all too well from here in Chicago.

You guys are right but he only made that much because of the price of them. I guess you can brag about that, but I'm more surprised at just the number(or lack thereof) of orders he got.

I feel you, I shouldn't have said nothing to brag about. I was just sayin the number of people who bought a pair is low to me since that was the initial discussion(how 400-500 ppl bought them).

I mean, yeah it's good for someone who's set modest/realistic expectations for this new huge undertaking that they've taken on, but given the dude's demands/claims it's really not anything to brag about. He's talking about being a rival to Nike, Adidas, UA and wants 3 billion dollars for a shoe deal because he thinks his kid is going to the Lakers. You can't really make those kind of statements and have that kind of endgame in mind and then be bragging about making 100-200K. That's the epitome of taking a moral victory.
