Dude has a family and young daughter. Not his fault that a reporter jumped the gun, and he shouldn't feel pressured to make a decision until he's absolutely sure. This isn't just about where he wants to play basketball.

I've fought longer picking a place to eat for dinner with the wife.

Heat officially waive Bosh. Plan to retire his jersey.

            Per Bobby Marks

The Heat now will get salary cap relief of $25.3M and $26.8M with the Chris Bosh waiver. Miami as projected has $12M in cap space that could increase to $37M. Free agents like Dion Waiters and James Johnson would need to be signed with room.

            Bobby Marks, ESPN

Also, Twolves 1st rd pick Justin Patton suffered a broken left foot.

You are right, but he's had months to think about it. I just don't get what the hold up is. If he's on the fence, taking a few more hours/days isn't gonna make a difference. There are a lot of people waiting on his decision. Not just fans, but other players waiting for the dominoes to fall, who also happen to have a family and kids.

Yea he most likely wasn't getting 3 years at 19M per from anyone else. He had to chase that paper after that botched 80M he could've had with the Jazz.

Hasn't stopped other FAs from signing with teams though. Most of the other big names are RFAs anyway.

He's not holding up anyone so let's tone down the hyperbole. This isn't like trying to decide what shoes to wear or where to get something to eat from.

Weird to see his number retired as a Heat. Then realize he spent just 1 less season in Miami than Toronto. You kind of forget about how long he was there because of being overshadowed in the first 4, then the way his final 2 went.

I'm sure the Raptors might also retire his number one day too. If not for Bosh, they might've gone the way of the Vancouver Grizzlies after management made some of the worst moves imaginable in basketball(bust after bust of 1st round picks, dealing VC for nothing among other bad moves). He had nothing to work with in Toronto. Mike James was probably one of his best teammates lol.

Still bad blood between him and the fanbase so it might take some time, and I doubt it'd happen before VC gets his retired.

I'm trying to get my summer MyLeague started in 2k. It is important for me. Also my cousin is going to sign with Boston if Hayward doesn't.

Agree with the hyperbole . Lot of exaggeration .

But I think a few players like Dion Waiters , Rudy Gay , CJ Miles ... are waiting for the signing.

I think some teams may due to smaller moves as a result. Ainge may have to unload some guys if Hayward commits.

And suddenly I feel a little less angry trading that pick with Jimmy. GarPax can still eat a bag of **** though. They lucked out there.
