I'm confused.... I seriously need a drink. Like someone said already. The only person who benfits from this trade are the Warriors.
The majority of NBA players don't read these message boards nor do they care that some Bron fans think they suck...Id bet good money thats the last thing on Kyries mind...

I remember Kyle Korver telling a story about how his family called him worried about all the 'chaos' surrounding the Cavs when he was first traded there...and he wasnt even sure what they was talking about..lol

Fact is, Kyrie is 25, has a chip, multiple all star appearances, gold medal and an iconic Fonals moment under his belt....maybe hes just ready to do him...

Kyrie is one of 4 players that take 30 shots a game. Going to another team and lose or barely make the playoffs.
I agree that the Warriors could benefit the most.

But I think a weakened Cavs team helps other EC teams. It won't be easy to replace a 25-26 PPG scorer who shot 47.3/40.1/90.5 last year and is 45.7/38.3/87.3 for his career.

He's a ball hog but he's a human highlight film so likely to have marquee value even for a non-playoffs team. At age 25, he hit the championship-winning basket just a little over a year ago so he should sell some tickets and jerseys for his new team for awhile.

Just for comparison, Rose is only 28, though a shell of his former self. But he's not getting much interest in free agency this offseason whereas Kyrie would get max offers.

Cavs should get interested trade partners.

Problem is, he's been doing him for 6 years. He's never been a team player and couldn't get us into the playoffs in any of his first 3 years. You could think that he's learned from LeBron how to be a leader but he's shown in the past couple seasons that when LeBron doesn't play, neither do the Cavs. And Kyrie isn't a victim there he's a cause, the ball sticks too much when he's running the offense. So unless he goes somewhere where he wouldn't be the primary ball handler for 35 minutes a night, nothing's gonna change for him.

Kyrie is a man with pride like everybody else even if people don't mean him, that's probably how he's taking it.

Thing is, after Game 5, Kyrie was waiting for Lebron on the way to the lockers and they hugged it out or something, as if to say we'll be back or they're in it together despite the loss.

That was just 6 weeks ago!

And it's not like Lebron was publicly complaining about not having enough help, at least not like he was doing at mid season.

Dudes are routinely on twitter clapping back at fools running their mouths. KD literally has everything in the world right now and dude is on twitter going at it with loud mouth fans. Players care a lot more about that stuff than you're trying to downplay it as right now. Obviously not the only factor, but let's not act like it doesn't play a role at all. Hell we've seen LeBron extra nuke somebody cause of some skank in the front row yapping.

Yeah we know some of em care

LeBron was taking mental notes in Miami

LaMarcus Aldridge shut off his social media

LeBron loves to tweet about things outside of cleveland to fans

other players get into arguments on twitter

LOL it might not be totally like people on the internet 24/7 think but they care.

I think you guys are underrating the heat. Kyrie and Whiteside are definitely a playoff team and the two of them plus one or two of Dragon, JJ, or Dion is a ECF contender. Kyrie and JJ, Dion, and whatever they can get for dragic and Tj is at least a playoff team and at best is a ECF contender. And in both situations hopefully D-wade is brought out and signs with the heat. Kyrie wouldn't get a for sure playoff team on a team like the Knicks. I just hope if Kyrie is traded to the Heat Hassan isn't traded but I would understand if he is.

Why did Kyrie give his preferred destinations? He doesn't have any say in the matter lol.

He doesn't have a say no, but it's kind of a courtesy thing for one. Two, teams are more likely to trade for a player and give you better pieces in said trade if they go into it knowing that the player wants to play for them.

                        Such a strange scenario.

Why this dude doesn't want to play with LeBron anymore.

To the point he wants to go to a loaded western conference.

                          Requesting a trade ain't a courtesy thing.

Kyrie has 0 leverage here anyway. He's still under contract for at least 2 more seasons. He should be going wherever Cleveland gets the best return.

What a time to be Gordon Hayward and a Celtics fan. Literally the biggest obstacle in your conference is seemingly beginning to implode while you still have this young and talented team you just joined who still have the ability to add impact players through the draft or trades. Oh boy.
