    Re: 2017 Offseason Thread

Most of the “good” matchups don’t usually start up til January anyway.

And if the whole “Don’t rest your big name guys or else” threat works as it supposed to, then we shouldn’t have that many trash matchups.

Don't even think he'd even get the backlash like he got in 2010, considering he brought back a championship to Cleveland that he promised them.

I personally dont think Lebron owes the fans anything more or ownership, he did bring a Championship there, so if he decided to leave, I dont think there would be as much backlash, but I do think it hurts his legacy, if he packs up and leaves again, just trying to chase rings where he thinks he has the best shot to win.
Kyrie did say that before Lebron came back, things changed IMO for him with Lebron, as Kyrie wants to be the man, he might get a rude awakening in Boston, with Brad Stevens, its all about team, and Hayward is there, and Hayward is a more complete player than Kyrie, not saying Hayward is more gifted, but he is the better overall player as of now anyway.

So many thought that Kyrie wanted out because he knew Lebron was leaving after this yr, and didnt want to be a part of the rebuild. I actully think it may be just the opposite, Kyrie knew he would never be the man as long as Lebron is there, so he wanted out. If he knew Lebron would leave, he may have wanted to stay, after all he is or was loved by Cavs fans, as he did hit the shot that won them the Championship after all, if it wasnt for Kyrie they would still not have a won it all.

As I said in the other post, nothing would surprise me with what Lebron does, whether he stays or goes. As I dont think really anyone knows what he is going to do, despite so many Laker fans think they know, heck he may not even know himself

The only vintage Rose anyone is going to get is if they rewatch the season he won MVP,lol. If Rose has to play many minutes due to Isaiah's not bieng able to play, it wont be long before Rose is injured.

Wade will likely will be better this yr than last yr just due to playing with Lebron, and Wade wont need to play heavy minutes due to them having JR, never thought I would say that about JR,lol, so Wade should be able to stay healthy,

I guess he saw the moves he needed to see.

Woj bomb. Russell Westbrook agrees to 5 year 205 million dollar contract extension.

I see Russ falling for that PG persuasion.

I'm sure KD is happy that a WB team won't be challenging his squad in the playoffs for at least the next 5 years.

PG is playing alongside an MVP, will get to the playoffs every year and OKC will be an attractive free agent destination.

That cap is going to be lower next year too. OKC will be able to pay him way more than anyone else.

Call me crazy but I think he re-signs with them.

I will buy OKC merchandise if they can beat GSW. Bench needs work though.

I think we all were under the impression that WB was the problem in OKC. But it was really Durant. Finding out now Durant is a ****ing headcase.

Russ was the loyal one all along.

Russ seems like a cool dude to me.

The Russ/KD "clash" was because clearly that dude KD has issues. He was always worrying about his perception when Russ really didn't give a damn.

                                So them dudes just co-existed.

Seems like they had absolutely nothing in common.
