The season will soon be here, but unfortunately it won't be until playoff time when the Kings vs. Lakers arguement can be settled. Since the bottom line is that the regular season doesn't mean jack!!! As long as you're in the playoffs everyone has a shot. As for right now I suppose you have to give the Lakers their due respect, they are the 3x champs. Might not have been the most fair series between them last year, but nothing can be done about that now. Just sit back and enjoy the season, both teams should have great ones.

I'll be rooting for the Clippers (the other LA team)

I agree that the Lakers do deserve respect, but only to a degree. Yes, they are the favorites to win it all this year, but NOBODY can rule out Sacramento's chances either, cuz they have a pretty damn good chance too. Everyone watched the WCF's last year (unless you live under a rock), and Game 6&7 were favored to Lakers and y'all know what I mean. Keon Clark can't stop Shaq, hell, who can? But with another versatile big man on the squad, it just makes Sacramento that much more dangerous. Tracy Murray is a washed-up veteran who shows up from time to time. Kareem Rush was a college prodigy, but even with his speed, he still can't stop Bibby (either could Fischer, Kobe, the whole dam Lakers team). Since when is Kobe Bryant allowed to elbow people in the nose (on purpose) and not get thrown out?

Lakers and Clippers cause I'm from LA. Though I like watching the Mavs as well.

And if the Kings think Keon Clark is the answer to Shaq, then they're in for a rude awakening. Another versatile big man doesn't do them any good. They'd have been better off trading away a couple of their 'versatile' players for an actualy 'good' player.

Forget the regular season. I have an idea, let the Kings and the Lakers play a 7 game series every month. Which ever team wins the most series wins the title. Let's be honest, that"s what everyone wants to see anyway.

Once Adelman benches Webber in crunch time for players that actually want to win championships, they can unseat the Lakers. As for the East, my Nets are poised to win again, as long as they're healthy. Remember, last year was a totally new team, and they still made it to the finals. With another year of experience in the system, Kidd, Martin, Jefferson, and Kittles can all have better seasons. Rodney Rogers, Lucious Harris, Jason Collins, Chris Childs and Aaron Williams makes up a great bench, and Dikembe will add even more rebounding to an already good rebounding team. They should be really good, and I don't think the Hornets, Celtics, Raptors, Pacers or anybody else to stay with them.

Philly has been my squad since they drafted AI. I'm from down south Louisiana, so i'll be going for the Hornets too, plus I stay in NC. The Hornets move from where I stay, to where I used to stay.. lol..

I like the Raptors the most this year mostly cause I have followed them ever since Vince was drafted to em. I also like the Celtics and Hornets even though they moved from Charlotte. But I hope the best for my raptors.

The Raptors of course. Second is The Bulls... In the west it's Dallas... I really hope someone dethrones the Lakers this year because quite frankly... I'm sick of them. I don't hate Shaq... and while I dislike the hype surrounding Kobe, it's not like I hate him... I just want a different team to win. At least then I can stop hearing about how great Kobe is from all the bandwagon fans... Until next time...

Celtics because of my main man Paul Pierce! It's about time we saw another Lakers - Celtics final (personally i'd prefer kings but I dont care as long as Lakers lose!)

Here in VA, got to root for the hometown Wizards, with a big offseason (and old man Jordan) I see playoffs in their future.

No matter if they're in first or last place, u got to love the bulls. 1st b-ball game I ever saw was Bulls-Pistons regular season game in 91'. they've been my faves ever since. with the ups and the downs.

Dreaming? Hardly, your just a typical Laker fan who is in denial. The Kings have the best chance to get to 70 wins over any other team (including the Lakers). Besides, the Kings upgraded their roster over the summer while the Lakers didn't.

The bench in La is wearing thin. Kareem Rush? Samaki Walker. Look for the Nets to make some major strides, even more major this year.
