Well I live in Oregon and the news here says there is a strong chance of the trade for Carter going threw in the next week or two. The Blazers just paid Darius Miles all that money but they are almost forced to start Rahim over him and with the poor outside shooting the Blazers have they are willing to deal Derrick Anderson also. The deal I keep hearing is Rahim, Anderson and Stepania for Carter and Rose, the only thing hanging it up right now is the Blazers unwillingness to take on Rose's contract. So more then likely a 3rd team will enter into the trade with Rose and probably Anderson going to the 3rd team and Rahim, Stepania and a player from the 3rd team going to Toronto and of course Carter and a player from the 3rd team going to Portland, although I have no clue as to who the 3rd team might be.

In a way I wish the Raptors don't trade Vince. However for the good of the franchise he's going bye bye. The guy has just turned into the biggest joke in the entire NBA. I'll be the first to cheer his departure.

They had a good chunk of that interview on one of the stations up here. It was pretty good.

The guy was asking him why he wasn't dunking as much, and he called it over-rated. The guy then brought up the relationship between going for dunks and getting free throw attempts, Vince responded with "layups can create free throws too". Then the guy stated that he wasn't getting the free throw attempts he used to and wasn't driving as much. Vince just shrugged it off.

I really didn't think his off-season trade demand was going to affect things too much, although I did think he would be traded. Had the way they started the season continued, it might not have, but this has gotten just rediculous lately. Vince must go, and unless their 4th quarter Spurs comeback becomes a regularity, they could be getting desperate oftly soon.

They should trade him to Atlanta, so he could really visit basketball hell....

ie, one reason he's never been traded is the fact he sells seats. A no dunking VC would stop that.

It's clear he wants OUT and all this crap is behind it...it's time both sides sorted this out and moved on.

I guarantee you if he's traded to the Knicks etc and he's on the break, 3 on 1, first play in MSG, he'll be dunking it.

                          Exactly.

This is all just a ploy to leave T-dot. Eliminate himself as a top-draw, and he makes himself less valuable/more tradeable...Vince is still young, and if he ever becomes a solid cog on a championship-calibur team, we'll never even remember this crap.

Some sqaud is going to get a very solid #2 guy.
