            That counts as basketball smarts. Dirty, but still smart. I mean, wouldn't you do it if you knew you could get a call? And for the record, I hated him when he was playing but I've got nothing but respect for him now.

                That counts as basketball smarts. Dirty, but still smart. I mean, wouldn't you do it if you knew you could get a call? And for the record, I hated him when he was playing but I've got nothing but respect for him now.

                            He didn't cheat, but he used every advantage he could get, including playing upon the fallability of the refs. It's fair game .... but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

                            I hated the Jazz for a long time because of Malone and Stockton, and now that I'm in Utah I'm trying to like the team .... but I still will never like Stockton and Malone.

                                            In my opinion, Magic Johnson is the best PG of all time. Still, I respect Stockton as a terrific player. (I too heard players complaining about how dirty he was, but at least he was smart about it.)
                                            Fun Fact: Every Tom Izzo recruiting class has played in a Final Four.

                                                In my opinion, Magic Johnson is the best PG of all time. Still, I respect Stockton as a terrific player. (I too heard players complaining about how dirty he was, but at least he was smart about it.)

                                                    And didn't have to win a ring to have a storied career (someone please tell Malone about this)...

                                                            I'm still mad at Stockton for hitting that game winning shot in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals that sent the Jazz to the Finals and eliminated my Rockets.
