He was a great player, but a dirty player.

He was a very talented in watching the game go on and anticipation of the action, but also perhaps the biggest floppy-Divac artist ever. The sad thing is, so many times, even though it was so obvious that he would just flop to the floor, he still got the charge foul called.

So yeah, he was good, but disgusting at the same time.

I remember Charles Barkley saying on TNT that he would like to get a piece of him for cheap shot elbows to the ribs while Charles was attempting to get rebounds in a crowd.

Being a Laker fan, does taint my appreciation of his skills... but none the less, he was not an example for children in regards to: "how to play well with others"

If my kid were to play point guard, I'd give them film of Stockton. He is the greatest prototype style of point guard to play the game. Magic was a tad better, but Magic wasn't you're prototype point guard.

Imagine if he had played for the Lakers last year instead of Payton. His style would have been perfect.

The man put Gonzaga on the map. He is the career leader in assists and steals - the epitome of a team player.
