It's not the players its the fans.

When people talk about how they don't like going to the games anymore its not due to the players and how they act. Its how all the other fans act is why people don't like to go to the games. I hear stories all the time how people say its rough going to games anymore. You can't take children anymore because of how other fans scream and cuss at each other during games. Most of the time its down right ugly. Its not like players are running into the stands every game and making it unsafe for fans. Fans are making it unsafe for other fans and their children.

I don't care if I'm making $10 or 10 million dollars someone throws a beer at me I'm running into the stands and I'm beating them down. Call me crazy but If the fan didn't throw the beer this wouldn't have happened. If it were another player and they still threw the beer would they have attacked them? Who knows but the fan shouldn't have thrown the beer in the first place and all this wouldn't have happened.

I also think its kind of odd how people forgot how Artest wanted some time off from playing to complete his rap CD. Call me crazy again but all this could've been staged to help get Artest his time off from playing. All the while people are screaming and calling him a bad guy and all he did was out smarted everybody and got his wish. Artest got his time off and now he can finish his rap CD all the while people are looking like suckers.
