Why has Brevin Knight been bounced around so much?

    Why?

The longest he has been with one team in his career is three seasons, his first three with the Cavaliers. Sure, he isn't going to light anyone up for 20 points, and he is not a threat to knock down a three, but this guy has been very productive. Plus he is a smart kid, as a Stanford grad.

His career averages, 42% FG, 76% FT, 7.2 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 6.2 apg, and 1.8 spg, in just 25 minutes a game. I have never understood why this guy has never found a job as a role player on a contending team? He is an assist and steal machine!

For the same reason Christian Laettner has played for like 6 teams and was traded 3 times in a month. Talented players dont always stick with teams for whatever reason (whether it be bad timing, bad attitudes, high demand for the player, rebuilding, etc)
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

But Laettner is old, injury prone, and hasn't has been very inconsistent for awhile.

I could be wrong but maybe it's because he doesn't make ALOT of money by today's standards and he is easily moved from team to team. In other words, he is a throw-in on a trade to make the trade work out evenly.

With the Bucks he was just clumsy...average passer and poor shooter.

He is an average shooter, undersized, and a defensive liability. excellent passer and floor general though.

He's an excellent leader and floor general...well said. But the fact remains that he just doesn't produce in the pros. He's just another sad story of a great college standout that doesn't come to fruition in the NBA. Anybody remember Trajan Langdon from Duke?

His contract when he was in Memphis was too much for what he offered.
