Brad Stevens says Gordon has a dislocated ankle and fractured tibia.

Hayward is lucky this happened 6 minutes into his contract, and not with 6 minutes left of last year, otherwise he'd be losing so much money from one freak accident.

Feel for him, though. As frustrated and upset as I was with him when he left, he doesn't deserve this. He's a good dude and a hell of a player, I hope he bounces back quick enough for Jazz-Celtics NBA Finals in 2020

Hearing it was a clean fracture for Gordon per Mike Gorman, tv pbp guy been around/with the team for 40+ years. And Chris Mannix reported the same thing. So no ligament or blood vessel damage. That’s a relief.
