His offense game is complete. I can't find a hike in it. But Simmons has a few holes in his game. And also I'm not saying his the best rookie. He's my favorite.

Utah waived Nate Wolters. Shame, enjoyed him on those trash Bucks teams. Dude got buckets in 2k14 too.

Celtics got it figured out against the Bulls tonight. BIG 3rd quarter. Jaylen Brown with a nice game after his one game absence. Theis with 15 rebounds. Kyrie being Kyrie...

            Re: 12/19 - 12/25 Games Discussion Thread

I know people likely won't care about this stuff at all, but DeRozan/Lowry are starting a conversation that seems to have carried over into USA media too. They think the Raptors should actually be getting a Christmas game. Say what you want about their performances in the playoffs, but regular season wise they have been one of the best teams in the NBA the past few years.

People in the NBA basically contradicted themselves when explaining why they don't get a Christmas game. It's not because of where they're located, however, it's because of ratings....

They're located is in a place where ratings don't impact USA networks, so I'd say that location is the reason why they don't get Christmas game.

But how can people even bother to care about watching a team if that team isn't on to begin with? Not that some random casual basketball fan in LA will suddenly watch a Raptors game, but if a hardcore basketball fan wants to watch a good game, I'm sure they'd rather see a team who is contending for 1st in the conference over the Knicks,76ers,Wizards.

Man what a sad game. That shot for the tie sequence with 20 seconds left was atrocious.

You answered you own question when you said that a random casual fan isn't going to suddenly watch a Raptors game. The Christmas games are all about trying to bring in the casual fan. To get a Christmas game, Toronto would have to have one of the tier one stars in the League, e.g. a LeBron or a Steph or be the defending NBA Champions. It's unfortunate, but that's the thought process of those who decide these things.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

A bit of a letdown Christmas this year when teams are missing some of their star players.

Why did you include Brook Lopez on that list?

That's why you focus on top teams over bad ones with 1-2 guys. 76ers with no Embiid? As if Knicks VS 76ers wasn't already gonna be bad.
