Re: Michael Redd to the Cavs?

Ive been trying to tell y'all for two months now...This is a lock.

James and Redd are very good friends, and Redd also has a little bit of history with E. Snow. He's looking to build a home in central Ohio, and the Cavs have attractive cap space and an attractive situation.

I don't see the Cavs giving up anything for a guy they'll probably get next year anyway. Its doubtful the Cavs would do anything this year...

Ideally, we can give Z a 7-8 mill contract, give Redd the max, and give Mcinnis the full mid-level. If MCInnis gets a better offer (and he probably will) we still have Snow, and can use Harris as the backup PG. Then we could use the mid-level on a defensive post presence.

Either way, the future looks good for the cavs...

Can they offer Redd the max AND sign Illguakus AND resign James in a few more years?? That seems like alot of money....

Yep, assuming they sign Redd and Z then Lebron won't really be a problem as they'll hold his bird rights.

I think that is almost a lock to happen. NJ is interested in Dejuan and have been for a few years, while Aaron is having a really bad year. Averaging 2 points a game. BLAH. He'll be gone soon, and if we can get Dejuan Wagner for him..all the better.

That would work out great for both teams...we don't need Williams to score, just to play tough inside. The only problem is that the Cavs are shopping Wags and Diop for expiring contracts. When does Williams come off the books?

I don't know how well the salaries match up, but if Redd is going to bolt, Milwakee should start shopping him now.

Maybe they could trade Redd for like Luke Jackson and that Brazil guy, Anderson.
