Re: Kobe speaks on Ray Allen, Shaq, and NaS (a must read)

Thats not exactly the best comeback, thats all I'm sayin'.

LOL, what should he have said...???

However, Kobe taking the credit for their start.... can we say over-inflated ego!?
I did not hear it so I can't comment but if he was kidding and you want to take it as a serious statement...dats sad...just saying

since you mentioned him goin 1-2 in the first half just wanna note he went 2-10 in the second half. Although he did get a triple-double and a win....

what is your point he didn't score enough????He shot badly??? They won...if you watched the game you would see that he was doubled teamed whole night so he did what his team needed him to do....FOR THE WIN

and haters (not you) on this board always wanna say Kobe doesn't care about winning blah blah blah....it's bull

LOL, what should he have said...???
Glad you asked, here's some things...

Nas raps about murderin' and drug dealin for 6 albums, drops a single called "I can" and now he's an authority on morality? All of a sudden Nas is for the kids and I'm a villain?

        or

As Jay-Z said in Blueprint 2, what exactly has Nas done to give back to the hood?

I dont care what he said, its just him sayin "he had a child out of wedlock" is like puttin that on par with the stuff he did. I don't think theyre equal. Having a child before you are married and caring for it like a man, isn't the same as cheating on your wife, snitching on shaq, going on trial for rape, switching up your image after you're caught, etc. You see what I mean? Kobe sayin' "well Nas is an unwed father" is a bad comeback because he's implying its as immoral as what he's doing and it may rub some of his peers the wrong way. Tmac and LeBron for starters have kids before marriage, along with alot of fans who support Kobe, and people in general. Nas, Tmac, LeBron, just like me and about everyother guy I know are having sex before marriage (I am not a father btw). Condoms arent 100%, stuff happens, more often still, when you're famous, havin sex on the reg, and girls try and trap you. They coulda got an abortion to save face in the media, but they instead took care of their children like men. And its not like Nas is Shawn Kemp, he has one daughter from one woman, not 8 babies from 12 ladies. So Kobe saying what he said is not only a shot at Nas its a shot at all men who have kids before theyre ready and handle theirs like grown men. I was just pointing out that theres alot of things Kobe coulda said about Nas due to the industry he's in and the things he's said on wax. However, Kobe put his foot in his mouth again, and made a real bad comeback that was aimed at Nas but could be generalized to alot of men including his peers.

I did not hear it so I can't comment but if he was kidding and you want to take it as a serious statement...dats sad...just saying
When I say Kobe replied to NaS, you're like "good for you, stand up for yourself, way to go youngblood!!", when I say in the very SAME interview that Kobe also said he's taking credit for Ray Allen's season AND the guy who posted it originally said Kobe came off as arrogant, then its like, "well I didnt here it, he was kidding, if you believe that, you're sad." Wtf?? Do you just take what you want from interviews, and believe what you wanna believe?

I believe Kobe was serious. Especially, given his arrogant not too distant past. When Nas and Jay had their little beef; Nas crushed Jay-Z and went on to make the classic stillmatic. Jay then had the audacity to take credit for it. He was like, It's because I got Nas motivated that he dropped a classic, blah blah. Instead of saying, ok he won, he got the better album, I'm gonna work harder and improve my game, Jay would rather put his stamp on stillmatic.

Similarly, Kobe and Ray had beef, Ray's winning. Instead of saying, ok he's winning right now, he got the better team, I'm gonna work harder and improve my game, Kobe would rather put his stamp on the Sonics season.

After all the arrogant things we've heard kobe say in the past (remember when he was mad b/c the FREE plane that he was provided w/ from the lakers during trial wasnt nice enough), and you say I'm sad because I believe he said and meant this? Kobe is arrogant... enough said.

what is your point he didn't score enough????He shot badly??? They won...if you watched the game you would see that he was doubled teamed whole night so he did what his team needed him to do....FOR THE WIN
My point was you were talking as if Kobe is some god because he wasn't shooting the ball in one half. I was just saying that in the second he went back to old school Kobe, taking very bad shots while doubled (2-10), and trying to force things (8 turnovers) but yeah they did get the win. On a positive note, I will say I won't be suprised at all if Kobe leads the league in assists, it seems like every night he's gettin 8 to 10.

If Kobe wanted to bring up a mistake by Nas he should have just mentioned 'Oochie Wallie' or perhaps the entire 'Nastradamus' album.

And as far as the Ray Allen comment goes, I highly doubt he seriously thinks he's the reason Seattle is off to a hot start. I'm sure he meant it like Melo meant his bronze medal is at the bottom of a lake somewhere.

^ I'm really not gonna argue bout this...but my first post was sarcasm

-I think Kobe said whay he did about Nas because it was in the same 'genre' that people get on him for (one of them atleast)....

-I am not disputing that he said the thing about Ray but how he said it and if you want to judge that on past things he said privately (that became public ironically by another snitch) means he said this statement seriously in a public interview then good for you...did you hear the interview???NO..so why spin it

-How has Ray won????? HE is the person who started this because Kobe blocked the bejesus out off him......Ray would only 'win' when his 'prophecy' comes trough....

the Sonics are looking good though but ;Kobe never said they would suck.

                out.

But its not the same, at all. That's what I'm saying. It's not even in the same genre! I hate to keep reposting the same thing, but how is Nas taking care of the kid that he had b4 marriage the same as Kobe being accused of rape, cheating, etc.... its not. And he's talking like they are, which is a shot at alot of people, I dunno how this isn't registering.

I was just pointing out that theres alot of things Kobe coulda said about Nas due to the industry he's in and the things he's said on wax. However, Kobe put his foot in his mouth again, and made a real bad comeback that was aimed at Nas but could be generalized to alot of men including his peers.

My point was you were talking as if Kobe is some god because he wasn't shooting the ball in one half. I was just saying that in the second he went back to old school Kobe, taking very bad shots while doubled (2-10), and trying to force things (8 turnovers) but yeah they did get the win. On a positive note, I will say I won't be suprised at all if Kobe leads the league in assists, it seems like every night he's gettin 8 to 10.
no on that .i honestly believe if jay didnt get at nas (nas didnt win imo ) we still would be hearing oochie wally and nastradaumas type garbage that he was putting out . jay put him in check pointed out his inconsistent career and nas changed his approach. and no im not a nas ***** , hes my 4th fav rapper and illmatic is one of my fav. cds ever.

on to this subject , nas does have a point , about being a role model then switching up his style , getting tats etc etc ..but its kinda of a weak attempt to ish on kb imo , that song isnt even that good .and its kinda ironic that nas has always tried to be something hes not . he shouldnt be talking . as jay pointed it out .

It's pretty much a hip hop fact that Nas buried Jay in that battle. Judging by your sig I can see why you think otherwise. That ether still burns doesn't it? lol Nas put out two party tracks, and its sad that Jay and the roc a fella zombies only argument against nas are those 2 songs (oochie wally and u owe me). BTW, oochie wasnt his song, it was the bravehearts song, so he helped them out by doin a guest spot, for any other rapper it'd be whateverm but its nas so he's crucified. If I recall, Braveheart Party was on Stillmatic, post Jay-Z war. "Noone else in the room" is on Streets Disciple, again, post Jay-Z. Nas hasn't changed. He did a couple party joints here and there both b4 and after Jay. From One Love, Memory Lane, The Message, If I ruled the world, Nas Is Like, Small World, Some of Us have angels, God Love Us, Kids in the Pj's, Get Down, I can, message to the feds, Nas has a collection of songs that Jay-Z cant touch. However the Zombies wanna keep mentioning TWO songs out of the hundreds in his catalouge. Jay didnt change Nas, he made party tracks b4 and after the war... they still suck, and people still focus on those wack songs b/c noone can attack him for anything else.
