What player dominates the ball most?

What I mean is, what player has the ball the most, in the league, on average, every possession. I go w/Kobe. He touches the ball every possession, but he also holds the ball for about 8 seconds, on average. He literally runs the shot clock down, so that if he does pass, other players are screwed. Notice how Lamar Odom isn't playing any better w/Kobe. It's because Kobe dominates the ball. That is why I take Dwayne Wade, Lebron, or even Tmac over Kobe. Those guys make quick decisions, and don't need the ball every play to get 25 points and 7 assists. Notice that Kobe only averages 25 points and 7 assists b/c he has the chance to make plays every play. He shoots 39 % this year. If he had the ball as much as these other guys, he'd be more like 20 points and 4 or 5 assists. If you take his shooting percentage, and give him the same number of shots as the other three, he only averages 20. There's the proof. In my opinion, Kobe is nothing more than Paul Pierce, a good player, but not great, because he shoots a poor percentage, and dominates the ball. Actually, Pierce lets his teammates get involved way more than Kobe. MJ never dominated the ball like Kobe. MJ always attacked, or created, but he didn't hold the ball for like 10 seconds, ruining his teams offense, and shooting like 39 %. I think Kobe fans havent noticed how bad Kobe is shooting since Shaq left, and still think Kobe shoots 43-45 % when Shaq was around. I don't think they'll ever notice. Kobe could shoot 33 % for a whole season, but if Kobe shot 34 times a game, and averaged 29 points per game, they'd still say he's the best offensive player in the game. And ever notice how Kobe fans say Kobe is so great defensively, but they never mention how Tmac always got like 35 points against Kobe, and Kobe had Shaq behind him to help out. Wake up, Kobe wans. Anyway, chime in if you have an opinion as to the player that dominates the ball and holds it the most.

This will easily turn into a pro-Kobe vs. anti-Kobe thread. I doubt we need another one of those.

I was going to say that LeBron dominates the ball in Cleveland, which is nothing bad at all.

this is going to turn ugly, but it seems to me that kobe has turned into an ai type player meaning he will get his points, but he will have to shoot a lot. I will continue to assume this until he proves otherwise which he hasn't done so far. As for him holding the ball too long i have seen that happen on occasion, but i haven't watched him play enough to notice. However it really happens to screw the team at times (see Sacremento game), but the bottom line is they need kobe in order to even have a chance of winning, but that you are right in this case.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

I have not had the pleasure to see every team play this year but from what I have seen I would go with A.I. He is of course the PG meaning he has the ball a lot, but I feel he holds on to the ball far too long. He is averaging close to 8 assists a game but I feel there are many times he is far too concerned with creating/forcing his own shot and routinely misses better opportunities for others. I still love his heart as I am a long time sixer fan, but sometimes he just pisses me off. Philly needs a PG who can knock down the perimeter J and/or create better shots off of penetration for A.I. as him having to create for himself and keep others involved is not in the best interest of Philly being a success.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Truthfully its Rudy T's system. He always overuses his star players. Runs just about every play through them. That's what the coach and Kobe both wanted so there is the reason why.

even if it is the system its still kobe's fault for all the turnovers and stuff like that
