I personally think Lebron and Cle got shut down yesterday because of all the Chicago newspapers papers holding his jock so hard that morning. the Suntimes basically compared him to MJ in a nice long artical and told Chi fans to look out for the next Jordan. I dont know if Lebron checks the local media of the town he's in whenever they travel, but somebody at least had to let him know about the MJ comparisons. Only person that beat Lebron yesterday was himself.

its ok the Lakers i think we were one time swept by the bulls when they were actually playing well (this was about 2 years back when they had shaq), so this kind of stuff happens. Cleveland probably just overlooked this team.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

In a couple of years, Lebron is going to be absolutely swallowed by the media. They'll do to him what they did to Penny, Kobe, Vince, etc. He better hope that he plays perfect basketball for the rest of his career because if he doesn't the media will eat him alive. The basketball world would be so much better without that "m" word.

Traylor being out for a month will hurt this team. The Cavs bench was outscored by 22 points. He and Snow anchor that bench. Varejao is going to be nice, but he's still a little eratic.

The Cavs have played really well, but I don't know if this team is deep enough to compete for a title. Diop and Wagner are already halfway out the door, and Sasha seems to have found himself in the doghouse. Luke isn't ready yet, and Newble is a defender only. Little injuries seem to be insurmountable. I'm looking at next year as the first championship for Bron...unless they pull a major deal this season.

5-15 is a bad shooting night for Bron, but 19pts and 6 assists isn't that bad. Hopefully this will be a nice wakeup call.

Re: Is the Eastern Conference that weak?

everybody is going to have their bad shooting nights no matter how good they are. James is already really good. I'm not quite sure how he can possibly improve except become more consistent with his shot and develop some moves for when he gets older and doesn't have the same athleticism. He just got so good over the summer its scary. It will be interesting to see if he can get a lot better over the years.

I think this was a good wakeup call to show that the cavs are still not top. I mean i still think they overlooked this game, but they still need a player like redd who can stretch the d. Gooden is doing pretty good on the boards, Z can score down low and from outside somewhat, and Lebron can share the ball and score in so many ways, i think the only thing they are really missing is someone who can punish them for when they double team lebron and redd would seem like that type of player.

Probably. Seeing as it's the same guy who said the 49ers would go 13-3 this season.
