meh the Horford call is kinda like the Jaylen call in the previous game. The officiating has been infuriating in the inconsistency of there calls in this series.

if C's somehow find a way to advance the philly series would be interesting if C's had Kyrie and Hayward but alas they don't. maybe their D keeps them in it but they are a different animal.

I didn't even know about that non call until just now and in the 2 minute reports.

I'd say the shot clock violation was more obvious because I didn't pick up Mid's foul watching the game until just now looking at the 2 minute report.

In the end, doesn't make either non call right and I agree with BB, needs to be more consistency at the end of the game, especially if it impacts the game.

Of the players that played any significant minutes, Thon had the worst on/off splits, had a TS% less than 50% (which is almost impossible for a big man) while also not being able to rebound to save his life. He couldn't have played much worse during the regular season if he tried.

That has to be called. The Bucks were on a run at that time, a 7-0 run. The Bucks get the ball back and it could have had the potential to lead to a different outcome.

I think it's unlikely the Bucks win anyways, but that shot clock violation is Exhibit A of why the NBA's replay rules are so hilariously dumb. If the shot had gone in, they would have reviewed and said it didn't count, but because he missed the shot that shouldn't have counted, Boston got to keep the ball and kill the clock lol

The city I work for proposes its budget in February and then approves it in May so I've been working crazy hours the past few months and have barely been able to watch the games, much less comment on them. We're in the home stretch now thankfully.

So, what's the solution then? Stop a live ball so they can review it?

I guess that is one of those things were it depends on which shade of green you're rooting for because I was standing up screaming "that was all arm, that was all arm"

I think we can all agree that the refs need to do better. I'd say that I'd hate to see this crew move on, but I'm sure that the other crews aren't that different. Basketball is a hard game to call in real time. In the end, it's up to the players to overcome it. If Boston would have got back and played better D on the fast-break and Milwaukee would have grabbed the rebound, then we wouldn't be talking about either one of these gaffe's.

It can be reviewed on a air ball and a made shot, but not a miss. Isn't an air ball a miss? lol

Giannis, when asked about the non-call when Horford shot after the shot-clock buzzer, said he was told the play is only reviewable if the shot is made or if it’s an airball. Not reviewable on a miss.

Yeah, I agree here on all of this and your take.

Our son and I were talking about that this morning, the Bucks didn't play well last night, and probably wouldn't have won, but his stance is (shading towards the other green) that Middleton clipped Browns left arm and was obstructed by the ref. Last nights non shot clock violation call was blatantly obvious to everyone.lol

And one of the Bucks achilles heels in the series has been the lack of rebounds, giving the Celtics too many second chances.

I don't want to be a part of a loss attending a playoff game with the last game in the BC. I even called the Celtics in 5 or 6. lol So, the Bucks need to crank it up like they did in game 3.

And yes, win or lose, because of the BC's last game, there will be confetti pouring out after the game.

So Love, Cavs 2nd leading scorer, is officially averaging less PPG than Big Z did in the 2007 playoffs. And that list goes on for guys 3-6 as well. Smith less than Gooden, Hill less than Hughes, Korver less than Pavlovic, Hood less than Gibson, Nance and Varejao dead even at the 7th spot. At the 8th spot Green is half a point ahead of Marshall, but he's averaging double the minutes and has also started a game. lol it's almost comical how poorly they are playing.

Yeah it's a joke, but on the bright side, they went from last or 2nd to last in defense to 3rd. Small sample size but their defense has remarkably improved

It’d be nice to get an Otto Porter appearance this series and for the Wizards to get down by 30 in the 1st quarter again.

And hopefully Wall/Beal don’t get in early foul trouble.
