It won't happen, but this would pretty much an ideal situation for the Lakers. It prevents us from panicking and giving away the store. We get to see if Kawhi is healthy(even though he would probably pull a Vince Carter and play on cruise control for the season), and the probability of him bouncing would be almost 100%

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
Apparently a "Wizard's insider" claimed the Lakers offered Ingram, Hart, and Deng for Bradley Beal and Washington is mulling it over.. Surely that ins't accurate? Because that seems like a horrible move for the Lakers. Get's rid of that Deng contract, but that's a big haul for a big contract like Beal who's not really a Kawhi level return..
Also, from the Wizards standpoint, why would they want Ingram with Porter and Oubre, unless Oubre came back in the trade with Beal. They also signed Rivers, so not sure on the back up guard role from Hart as well.
So its probably accurate
(FWIW, I think Beal would be great playing alongside LeBron though)Comment

Anywho, nothing to see here. It'll be a cold day in hell if Leonard's in a Raptors uniform this coming season.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
I could see Popp being intrigued by Lowry on a short term basis but yeah this isn't going to happen AT ALL. The Sixers seem to be the frontrunner for Leonard but again, as the article says any deal hinges on getting Fultz.

Leonard going to Raptors would get him away from the US media, so there's that.Comment

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
Yeah send Kawhi to Toronto for some type of Lowry and Ibaka swap. Then he for sure leaves and goes to LAL.

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
From that thread:
You have to consider Duncan a center at this point in his career. Tim doesn't have the lateral quickness nor the mobility to be PF anymore. The Spurs like to hide the fact that he's a center, and Duncan may still be in denial, by labeling Bonner and McDyess as "centers."
My list:
1. Dwight Howard
2. Tim Duncan
3. Yao Ming*
4. Andrew Bogut
5. Andrew Bynum*
6. Brook Lopez
7. Al Horford
8. Chris Kaman
9. Shaquille O'Neal
10. Greg Oden*
* - All three are big injury risks, although Yao may be the most severe. I definitely wouldn't "pick" them if I had a choice in the top 10, but as far as talent they are.NFL: Bills
NBA: Bucks
MLB: Cubs
NCAA: Syracuse
Soccer: USMNT/DC United

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
Kawhi isn't going to Toronto. That is just a smokescreen in an attempt to get the Lakers to add more. Same thing as Kawhi potentially being willing to re-sign with the 76ers. My guess is he ends up with the Lakers or the Clippers. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague
