Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
Cris Carter, who has a direct link to Kawhi's camp, has said Kawhi to the Raptors is out of the question and he won't go there. So Idk why Toronto would throw away DeRozan for a 1 year rental. Stupid move, what do they think Drake is gonna convince him to stay or something?#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
Okay but Cris actually does have a legit connection to Kawhi (same agent).Comment

And so does she.🤷🏾*♂️
FWIW, I don’t put any stock into the Kawhi/CRaptors move anyway so it’s not like Carter’s breaking news here. So Carter saying this is like “Ok, you want a cookie?”.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
Hate to rain on you guy’s parade and bring down the mood here, but we’re going to have to find some way to soldier on again as we possibly have seen a legend suit up for the last time in the league. Unless another good team comes along in April and needs that one last piece to put them over the edge into title contention and makes that phone call.

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
Good, interesting read on the Bulls’ roster and of course Jabari’s signing from Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer:
The former no. 2 pick gets to restart his career in a system better suited to his skills, while the Bulls add another young piece to their foundation with no long-term risk
I can get behind this, King as far as building your team. Not much different from what we’re doing except you have your own picks.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread
Just because some guy shares the same agent doesn't mean he has some special pipeline and insight into what another guy thinks.
Also, let's not forget that everyone and their mother thought Paul George was LA bound this year but he chose to stay in OKC. I'm not saying it'll happen like that with Kawhi in Toronto but y'never know.
That being said i'd be crapping bricks if it means DeRozan is leaving town.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

ESPN radio reporter from Minneapolis replied in the comments saying it's not true. I've never heard of the dude it came from, but he's begging for followers and saying he's got early 2k19 ratings so... You be the judge.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Yeah once I saw that option on the Parker deal, I was cool with that. I’m kind of okay with the road we’re on, but what worries me is if this team is successful next year and makes the playoffs as a 4 or 5 seed or even a 6 and GarPax decides to do something stupid thinking they’re close to being a contender or something. I still don’t like their obsession with Cam Payne. Not sure if I trust them to move Robin Lopez by the deadline and actually get some kind of asset for him even if it’s a second round pick. I just generally don’t trust GarPax to not screw this up at some point.
