Definitely gotta have Smarf on your squad. Though his cousin Snarf might be a little better. [emoji13]

Dave Mcten says Lebron and his agent spoke with Koby Altman at midnight.

Nothing more which sounds like the same kind of phone call Pat Riley said he got when Lebron left Miami.

I knew CP3 was getting the max because honestly we had no ******* choice to do it as it would ruin our credibility in free agency moving forward with players, but 4 years versus 5 is a small victory to be honest. I know we are going to get laughed at, and rightly so but we honestly had to do it. Am I happy with the contract, obviously not, but if we can get at least 2 more workable years out of CP3 it won't be so bad. Hell, if we win 1 championship I won't even care about the contract anymore tbh.

Also good for Ariza, get that money. I was beating that drum before free agency that the Mavericks would go after DJ and Capela (seriously, check back a few pages) so them signing DJ is great news.

Saw a report on Bleacher Report that the Hawks are showing interest in Zach LaVine. Georgiafan, why y’all doing this man? I thought we was cool, bruh? Lol

That was a terrible decision. Especially now that PG has reupped in OKC. I like PG staying in OKC. I know players leaving and teaming is the the thing now but I like a guy staying and building off what they had. Get Melo to come off the bench as 6th man or buy him out.

I like all the free agency moves so far. DeAndre and Dallas should be a nice fit. With Doncic and DSJ coming along with Barnes and Matthews and of course Dirk, Dallas may be a playoff team. And set up well for the future. I'm definitely gonna be watching them next year.

I'd like to see Isaiah Thomas go to the 76ers. They need a scoring punch. Thomas fills that as either the starter or 6th man (a role he's tailor made for).

I may be venturing into 2K MyLeague mode but as a Hawks fan I wouldn't mind trading for Melo. I know he's not New York or Dencer Melo but he can still score. It's an expiring contract and if nothing else him and Trae should be fun offensively for a few games.

Looking forward to those Doncic-to-DeAndre lobs. If anything I hope that move gets Dallas more national TV games.

Makes me think they might try to use the stretch provision on Melo.

The trades that Indiana wanted, would you make those deals knowing that he wasn’t after all a sure thing to bolt to the Lakers? That it is possible to convince a guy to stay once you’ve got him in your building?

From everything I saw this past year with OKC, the biggest thing was Westbrook's endorsement of George. Like Westbrook defended him media barbs religiously, and always talked him up. Most of the media guys have said they built such a strong bond this season so it isn't surprising. Plus the entire organization just kept showing him nothing but love that obviously PG got attached to OKC and "the brodie".

So IMO this changes my opinion on things and I say why not take a gamble, players have shown the willingness (despite what "sources" say) to stay in certain spots. If I'm the Sixers I maybe try and put together a package for Kawhi with the hopes of playing with Embiid and Simmons and building that bond changes his outlook (which is again all reported by "sources").
