you seem to miss the point, I need a game to be done right period, I dont use them, and i am stuck with a game with problems that need to be fixed, and writing on a message board, i can give two damns about how my puncuation is . I got past 4 years of college just fine. Being an "attorney" i know that it is your nature to argue online, but being in the entertainment industry i see when stuff is going nowhere fast. sliders you use them I dont, and i am sure that your practice must be doing well being that we can talk like this. and I will stick with you not being a athlete, I am pretty sure u are a fantasy baller. so get your online pals together and have a great experience. .. .. .

I don't understand still. Are there things in the game you feel need to be adjusted with the sliders? I've played about 4 games so far at 10 min quarters, and I don't really see any need to use them. I play the game "right out of the box" as you have said, and it plays fine. The stats are realistic, as are the percentages.

I make one post and I'm defending MY GAME! You're the one with the issues, kid. And please don't try to insult my intelligence (I guess if you wanna say I'm too smart that's not really an insult) or my athletic ability, or my basketball skill or knowledge for that matter b/c I can promise you'll be wrong.

I'm not defending sh*t. My point is I can put the game in and play and I may get some stuff right away and may struggle with other things. I just got the damn game. Personally, I'd rather keep working at it, struggling until I get it down. They added sliders for people that don't want to do that. But the game gives you that option, either practice or adjust the sliders. It's no fault of the game if you suck right now.

Whos to say the default isnt right? Whats wrong with having the option after spending the $50. Besides why do you need this? With varying skill levels maybe others need the option to customize. But again, youre assuming the default is not right and then attacking anyone who defends options. Whats your problem?

Thats fine, like I said from the beginning you dont have to use them. And sorry I dont have any "online pals". I just recently started playing online when the ps2 adapter came ou and ive done it twice.

Your job in the "entertainment industry" must not be that busy either since you are replying to my posts so quickly.

I was in no way attacking anyone who likes sliders, just stating my opinion, but no one is going to talk down on me. I will speak back to anyone that does. and trust me wharton "kid", I am not hating anyone that likes them, this is personal preference, i was just brought aback by the back lash that came with my statement, i JUST DONT USE THEM. lol

I get your point but your first point asked for people's opinions and I gave you mine. You started calling people "kid", making fun of people's athletic ability, claiming they had no friends, and doubting people's profession.

But I'll let it go. Plus I have to get back to my job as a programmer/college professor/ attorney.

Oh we are doing real well, fortunately for me most of my work gets done in the night hours, so that leaves me with more time to play games that are pushed out with sliders to compensate for iffy programming as well as argue with internet "attorneys"

Can you imagine making a basketball game that a million+ people can agree on! I think not ! Thats why they have sliders in the game to satisfy everyones taste. And from the looks of this forum Every body has a different opinion about what is important to them in a B-Ball game. Some people complain so much like they would rather have the developer give them a call to customize and tweak their copy of live or 2k3 before its shipped to their home or store with their name on the front cover, that reads NBA LIVE "John Does Version" 2003!
