I guess we can laugh at the notion that these guys could beat the Cavs after tonight lol.

I really don't know about Barrett. The more I watch him the more concerned I am. He's terrible finishing around the rim (one of the few aspects of a player I think is innate and can't be drastically improved) and his vision/IQ leaves a lot to be desired.

He scored 18 points on 20 shots against Auburn yesterday and just scored 23 points on 25 shots against Gonzaga. He had 20 points on 21 shots against EMU. That's some alarming lack of efficiency.

Zion is my clear #1 and I'm not sure who I'm putting #2.

I think he’s a good finisher but you definitely couldn’t tell that watching the end of this game. Forced it too much playing for the foul. He’s still a more talented and versatile player that Zion.

My bold/hot take, Zion is going to be the most overrated prospect coming out of college in the past 10 years or so. I don’t think he’s going to translate into an immediately good NBA player. You have to draft him top 3 though, too athletic to pass up.

They been whipping teams. The Zags came out hot. The last 10 minutes was different.

I see where people are going with this. He's last shot had 3 defenders on him. He does force some shots. But I think decision making will be his next step in his development. There is no doubting he can take over a game. https://youtu.be/VJX7AmyguRU

I've mentioned it in this thread already so I'm not basing it off just this game. When he can get an open look at the rim and dunk he's fine. He goes up strong and he's long/athletic/etc but any time there's a defender in decent position and he can't dunk but has to use finesse, create an angle, use his body to shield the defender, etc he is terrible at finishing. He throws up too many shots that don't even draw iron in that situation.

I'm confused. You talking about Zion or Barrett. I can't remember if it was you or Yeah that hated one or the other.

Barrett. I don't hate him, I'm just not blown away by him and I'm unsure of his potential.

To me Barrett has the potential to be there next James Harden. He gets to the FT with easy now because of his length and strength now. He just needs to read situations better. It's this whole Kobe mamba mentality that's been going around. I thought on that last drive to end the game he should of passed it to an under cutting Zion instead of trying to draw the foul. Again I think plays like that will change in the future. Yes some of his shots look bad. But he also was part of the reason they came back in the fourth quarter (under 10 minutes).

But I think most of his shots are from that high school mentality that he's still physically bigger then everyone.

Should have passed it DeLaurier, he was right under the rim for a dunk.

Your right here was wide open. I think it was an either or option there in my opinion. Zion's man was playing off him heavey. He's man doesn't even see Zion. But again. Delaurier should of been the first option

Brazdeikis on Michigan has that "I'll be taken 25th overall, go to a good situation, and do all the little things well" written all over him. Smart, tough, intense. well-rounded player. Will be a nice rotation piece for someone whenever he comes out.

Zion Williamson is likely going to be the official first star of the 21st century...
