Probably should have had McGee in there late, Lakers paint defense was *** soon as Kuzma checked in the game

Yeah, Hart and Kuz still need to learn how to use their athleticism at that end of the floor too.

And like Dre said, it’s Game 2, lol.

Oh definitively, I 100% agree.. But it’s definitely understandable why he’s frustrated, at that point in the game after that call, as well.

I'll give Luke the benefit of the doubt that he's trying **** out but that was bad coaching IMO

LeBron hasn't been as sharp offensively or defensively. His man constantly got open looks after he would inexplicably leave him several times.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seemed like we actually were better with LeBron off the court in this game. Especially on the defensive side of the ball because of LeBron's lack of effort? Focus?

Couldnt have been during that sequence at all... nobody flinched and they were all standing there looking at the entire exchange including 2 refs at arms length.

Idk about that.. looked like a lot of those times “his man” was open they were expecting him to rotate back and Kuzma take his man. Happened a few times late, he was also getting lost on high screens with Zo. Seems like Zo, Bron, were on the same page and maybe Kuzma wasn’t understanding how their switches and rotations were working.

Bron was a -13 this game. He looked aggressive but settled for threes too much, although lots of those looks he does make.

Unfortunately I wouldn't count on Lebron's defense to get much sharper from here on out, that's how he's played for like 4 years now.

Yeah his shooting looks about like it did his first year back with the Cavs and everyone was adjusting then too. I think the -13 was bolstered a bit by the last few minutes as well. Ugly two games in.

I think he looks good defensively when it’s Ingram, Bron, McGee. But it looked like there were just a lot of miscues late. He kept looking over and talking at Luke which makes me think their rotations as a whole weren’t correct. Most of those plays it would be when the man he was originally on got a look in the corner or cutting the baseline. Idk if Bron was expecting to take the roll man and Kuz cover the corner or what.

Regardless it’s clear the chemistry isn’t there at all yet, which is expected. I do like their energy though, but they gassed out a bit in this one.

I wouldn't be worried if I'm a Lakers fan, they've been pretty competitive against 2 of the top teams in the West, they could have won this game but they just had too many miscues like you said and dumb plays. This might be a thing where they get it together post All-Star break, as Lebron teams usually go, question is can they afford to wait that long

Man NBA Twitter is clowning. That's the kind of comedy I love.

Theyre also calling Bron a bad teammate and saying espn and rachel nichols are trying to twist the story with the spit thing for paul because he's the NBPA president

I did think Lebron consoling CP3 after the scuffle was weird, lol. Even if they are buddies.

Yeah. CP3 deserved to get punched. Thats the type of mess that would get you punched if you were in public and Rondo the type of dude to not care about the consequences if it involves his self respect.

I got no idea what Lebron was doing. I get first instinct is to go calm down/check your friend, but after that you gotta go have your teammates back. Its too late to mediate, punches were already thrown.

I do think if the ref is going give Harden those type of calls again (for yet another year) players should just start knocking Harden to the floor, HARD, at every oppurtunity. If you gonna give me a foul anyway I'ma earn that ****.
