So the guys in the Lakers organization will pick up the phone to tell him about transactions that are being discussed and about to go down internally, but if he asks about anything else that’s happening they hang up the phone on him? Gotcha. Glad we cleared that up

You realize he could've gotten the trade report from the Clippers, right?

The Grizzlies are keeping Mike Conley, league sources tell ESPN. Memphis discussed deals with multiple teams, but ultimately decided to hold onto their franchise point guard.

Zubac/Beas for Muscala. And here a good portion of Lakers fans were telling the Interwebz that he was a future 20 & 10 guy.

I'm gonna miss JV He really liked playing here and I always thought he was one of the more underrated Raptors. I hope he gets a lot of minutes and big opportunities in Memphis.

Marc Gasol is a veteran who knows how to get it done. The Raps are down to 11 players on their roster so there may be another move on the way.

So we're not giving up multiple assets and picks to get an aging point guard with a bad injury history on a terrible contract?

lol saying he was a 20 and 10 guy may be to much but I think he could be a back up center so a rotation peace.

This buyout Frankenstein roster the Lakers are about to put together is going to really be something.

CJ got Go Daddy cursed. Shooting 31% from 3, his worst since 11/12. ORTG below 100, PER under 10, VORP in negatives.

Wright and FVV have been similar, biggest advantage for Wright was his D. Though he was leaving after season is done anyways. Raptors could look for a defensive 3rd string PG in buyout market or just free agency.

JV is the more traditional big man. If Memphis resigns him then that'd be helpful for them long term. The way the Raptors want to play with the whole "3 and D" mindset, Gasol helps more in that area. And Gasol probably stays next year while JV was probably gone.
