C’s starting to play better ball on a consistent basis. 9 wins in their last 10 games. Move to 3rd in the EC. Gordon Hayward still sucks, though.

DeAndre Jordan's presence, 6/8 from the line, nice to see. Kevin Knox 5-18 from the field with no assists, not so much. The tank rolls on.

Fiz called for Dennis for DSJ to come in the game, and Kanter thought he said Enes, so he ran down the bench before realizing his mistake. It was innocent, maybe even a little funny, but I don't like Kanter so I'm going with the angle that this guy is a distraction and needs off the team.

DeAndre Jordan's presence, 6/8 from the line, nice to see. Kevin Knox 5-18 from the field with no assists, not so much. The tank rolls on.

Also I think there was maybe one game all season Knox scored above 20 and was efficient while doing it. I need to see him with more aggressive drives to the basket instead of little floaters and soft shots he puts up. he's got impressive physique, needs to use it more.

Can't imagine a playoff team wanting Kanter, he'd get abused in switches and end up being much more of a negative IMO. I think KP was such a good fit for him, rim protection on defense, ability to shoot from the perimeter on offense so Kanter could stay under the basket and get his rebounds. The fact that he's such a malcontent will probably make him undesirable to teams wanting to bring him off the bench.

Knox needs to improve his finishing, even a lot of the layups he does make look like he's just throwing them up there.

You cant say the Pelicans arent competing without AD. They made it a game last night.

Realistically, whether they keep AD or trade him, they are a couple of small moves away from being a pretty good team. Need a point guard to start over Payton/Frazier, and a small forward to start over Hill/Moore.. upgrade both of those and they will be competitive with AD, Randle, or whoever starting inside for them.

Lol, Steve Balmer was sitting courtside at Raptors-Clippers game.....in Toronto.

It's not tampering sending exec's to visible locations in so many games to try recruiting a guy, but funny seeing Clippers doing all this. I don't think it'd matter. Kawhi will go wherever he wants, don't think he's a guy who'd care who's watching his games in person vs on TV.

Gotta think if players feel the way AD's dad does about Boston, Toronto is right behind on the list. It'll be interesting to see what Kawhi ends up doing.

This might make sense if Balmer hasn't been sitting courtside for EVERY Clippers game since he bought the team. I don't think it has anything to do with trying to recruit anybody either. Dude bought the team because he was an NBA fan and he enjoys watching the games. We need more owners that aren't in the league just to use the team as a piggy bank to keep gas in their private planes or to put a new heli pad on their yachts.
