Damn, imagine losing on a Rondo jumper. Fitting he'd hit that in the Garden.

    Great game to watch.

Imo, all NBA broadcasts that aren't TNT aren't so great. TNT has best analysts and commentators. It's a shame TNT can't do finals anymore. When does that deal run out for abc? I want to hear Marv or Kevin call NBA finals.

Lol, that and Lebrons reaction to Simmons being taken was funniest moment of the draft. People can say what they want about Lebron, but off the court he seems like a cool guy.

Funny how Lebron basically said it's not tampering if it's at ASW. That's basically how the big 3 decided to formally. I'm sure guys recruit then too.

I’m guessing Bullock is going to take Hart’s spot in the rotation? He seems to be playing less and less of a role. Maybe should have shipped him off after dominating the summer league. He won’t have that trade value again.

            Irving complimentary of Ingram-

The Lakers beat the Boston Celtics 129-128 on a buzzer-beater by Rajon Rondo. Irving had made a layup just before Rondo’s winning shot, but he was just 6-for-21 and otherwise had a tough night.
After the game, he credited the “unusual” defense of the Lakers — singling out Ingram for his length.

Kyrie: "Being guarded by Brandon Ingram most of the game, I can’t even lie to you guys, those guys on the defensive end are unusual. Driving lanes that I see against every other team, they were closing down the lane."
            — Adam Himmelsbach (@AdamHimmelsbach)*February 8, 2019

For the Lakers to hear that about one of their players — and their defense overall — is a big compliment

Apologists will tell you its a game of runs. I don't wanna hear that noise. The Celtics blow way too many large double-digit leads for my liking. Up 18 against a team that just lost by 40 something points to Indy two nights before. SMH.

                Pathetic, yet predictable.

Zo and Bron had this same pic last year.

I'm gonna laugh when C's fans turn on Kyrie when he leaves for wherever he's going, but I'm gonna laugh really hard if it's LA.

The 3-point production is definitely not sustainable, but I'm just glad to see the team hasn't completely quit like everyone thought based on that pathetic **** show the previous game. Any win against Boston on the road is a good win for the Lakers, especially when your team needs a pick-me-up in the worst way.

Lakers shot awful from the free throw line too and that could have altered the results, but that's entering the "could have, would have, and should have" territory.

                      Plot twist!

LeBron retires after the season to replace Gronkowski at TE for the Patriots.

I need the NBA scheduler to explain to me why the Knicks and Pistons are playing a home and home series 3 days apart with no games in between. We played them in the Garden Tuesday, and tonight in Detroit. What kind of foolery is this?

Meant to post this a few days back, but I hadn't had a chance to see Giannis and the Bucks in person since like his second year in the league when he was just barely scratching the surface of what he is today. Was amazing to get to see him in person now that he's a legitimate MVP candidate.

That's something about NBA/NHL I want changed. For all the people who hate back to backs, why can't we just make them all home and homes? You'd face a team who is just as tired as you and who had the exact same travel as you as well.

We'll never eliminate back to backs, and even reducing them there's only so much you can do with that, but having a "home and home back to back" seems like a great solution to this.

Not to mention it could add so much more intensity (and maybe even abit of a rivalry) having to play same team twice in 24 hours.

There's too many moving parts to do much about it, the result is just frustrating. At one point last month, we played on a Friday and Sunday, didn't play again until Thursday, and then didn't play again until Monday. It's like when you're watching a show, and they randomly go on hiatus, or start skipping every other week for 2 months...except the show (team) is bad anyway, so it's twice as frustrating.

The Celtics look soft man, I don't know what happened but this ain't the same team
