How lucky is the NBA(and even other NA leagues) that nothing physical has happened between fans/players recently? It's a different era, but we have no Tie Domi vs Philly fan or Malice in the Palace type of stuff.
And at same time fortunate we've had nothing like what happened recently where a fan jumped the barricades in England during a soccer match and punched the captain of the rival team. Even going old school, the Monica Seles moment is one we've really been fortunate hasn't happened again, especially with the number of times people have gotten right by players.
Hopefully we don't ever have an instance of a fan running onto court to actually do stuff, but also hope nothing like what happened in Detroit happens again too where a fan just goes overboard and the player feels similar(or more extreme way) of what Patterson just described, and "takes matters into their own hands".Comment

NBA twitter pulled up one of this man’s old tweets with a quickness where he said “Westbrook is a piece of classless ****. Somebody needs to kick his ass”.
It was after the Jazz eliminated OKC but dude has an agenda against Russ, clearly.Comment

Naming/publicly shaming people(who have been found guilty) is what needs to happen.
TV interviews are NOT the way to go.
It's the same reason why cameras cut away in baseball games when a fan jumps the field. Other than ending up in a shaky youtube/twitter video, you're not getting any recognition.Comment

Fans in Utah developing quite the reputation. The guy actually did an interview like anyone would believe his lying ***.
And Toronto fans are suddenly ok with acts of aggression? You all wanted Isaiah Thomas declined entry at the border for pointing a finger at DeMarre Carroll. Serge Ibaka our here choking and throwing punches at cats, and now suddenly no one is thinking of the poor impressionable Canadian children?Comment
