Well Chuck declared that they were going to the NBA finals last night, so they’re playoff hopes are pretty much dead in the water now. That’s like a guaranteed first round exit

Anyone that says that the warriors aren't making the finals is straight trolling

Oh for real? I didn't see that. I was working last night so I didn't see anything live and I only saw Barkley's guarantee from a Facebook link someone shared.

Their outside shooting is too erratic and they often do not get enough ball reversal. The screening defense is very problematic.

Westbrook has the stuff to single handedly win playoff games but he has busted in big games before. Paul George is a terrific two way player but his too-high dribble can be sniped at and he can be bullied in general.

They pretty much lost last night when Nurkic went out and they stopped running their offense

No passing handoffs and effective down screens that usually get them their open shots

That's why stars (who are typically shot creators) are important in the playoffs...everyone's rotations and contests are that much harder...

The best passing teams in the league all the sudden start looking muddled vs. the right matchups. The Spurs offense never looked uglier than it did against the Thunder...especially if Timmy's post game wasnt on..

                      Portland definitely lacking.

OKC kept them Iso'ing from the corners which is awful for Portland. They were even daring Aminu to shoot from the corner too and it worked.

I'm not high on Portland's pickups of Hood and Kanter. It's not like they've been lacking offense, and those two guys are pretty much net negatives due to their deficiencies on defense.

They need to flip McCollum for more of a two-way guy to slide next to Lillard IMO, having the both of them feels kinds redundant.

Its not redundant, the roster is incomplete.

Portland's GM just passed away. The team is in flux about being sold... they need another star

Their backcourt is fine but their forwards haven’t been much to brag about since Aldridge left and that’s where they need to upgrade at.

Harkless and Aminu are good at what they do but I’m not sure if it’s enough to elevate them to where Portland wants to go considering how limited they are offensively.

Yea. I was watching this one game against the Heat where in the second half of they just went with a hard trap on every McCollum or Lillard pick and roll situation.

Offense struggled after that. Didn't seem like they could sustain any momentum or rhythm.
