Perhaps who knows, but it was said that grant hill, penny, kobe, vince carter, isiah rider, harold minor, were all gonna be better than Jordan and all failed so who knows. Right now lebron isnt the best in the league give him 2-3 more years and he will be barring injuries

Let's face it, there's no way every great player from the past can play every great player of today simply because of their age difference, it wouldn't be fair. You can always argue who the greatest player is, or you could just look at the different generations and conclude who the greatest player was at that time.
I think the GOAT is Scottie Pippen (before Houston and Portland)
My father thinks the GOAT is Larry 'Legend' Bird (Why, I don't know)
Gin thinks Kobe is the air he breathes
So people can claim LBJ is better than Mike or the GOAT right now, but he could still be a flash in the pan, the same as Harold Miner and Isiah Rider...you never know...I don't see it but you never know. Besides MJ wasn't the Greatest anywayComment

Magic Johnson is the Greatest Basketball Player Ever. During the 80's, there were only 2 years the Lakers didn't make the Finals. One year Magic was hurt and the other Ralph Sampson made a lucky *** shot to send the Rockets to the Finals. Every other year though, the Lakers were in the Finals PRIMARILY because of Magic Johnson.Comment

Re: at the age of
slow your roll man. Look at this:
Grant Hill, 99-00, 74 games
PPG RPG APG %
25.8 6.6 5.2 .489
LeBron James 04-05, 28 games
PPG RPG APG %
25.2 7.1 7.3 .491
LeBron's ahead by about 1/2 a rebound and 2 assists a game. It's not like this has never been done before. LeBron's a FANTASTIC player, but he's not the greatest in the game yet. Tim Duncan is.Comment

ok during the 90's there was only 4 years the bulls didnt make it to finals. One year pippen had a migraine, and MJ had retired, he was rusty in 95 so that dont count and they broke up the dynasty after 98. But unlike Magic MJ went 6-0 beating magic johnson so Jordan >> johnsonComment

Originally posted by King McIntyreKG is better than Duncan, don't even try to argue the point. Until Duncan shoots threes like Wallace, or passes like Webber, or showcases the sheer leadership of KG...he'll never be the best in the league...Duncan needs a supporting cast to really win any ball games, when he's flying solo..the Spurs are grounded...that's not the case for KG and the Wolves
last year KG >> duncan This year who knows
but Duncan >>> KG career wise this cant be argued
TD leads more by example then using verbal communication.Comment

KG's numbers career-wise aren't any better than duncan's, but tim has two titles...shut your hole.Comment
