Anybody scared to try Live because of the analog stick?

Live sounds like a fun basketball game but I've been using the D-Pad since the day the original PSX came out, I have tried the analog stick every once in a while and I don't like it one bit, it's actually a small reason I like Madden over NFL 2k3(I don't like using it to pick my plays). Now, March Madness looks good but it's using the right analog as well.

Well I hate to tell you but everythings moving towards the stick. Convert now or later, your choice. Madden's even a better game using the stick than the pad.

I still have the same old PSX controllers, non dual shock--- gotta invest in new controllers as well.

The analog control seems too sloppy and imprecise for performing dribble moves for my taste. I don't mind it for movement though.

That's my feeling Psy, as far as going move it does seem a little sloppy. This is going to totally ruin multiplayer hoops because my friend's use the D Pad as well and they are going to be pissed to know they will be using the analog.

LOL, I'll give it a shot Saturday afternoon. I will hand in my SATs and sprint to my local video store to rent 2k3 and Live.

I am use to the stick but I find in some games like madden/nfl2k3, I can't get that final angle using teh stick that I do w/ dpad. Right when my player needs to turn the coner in bball or fball, my finger sort of 'slips' off the analog. You know what I mean? Doesn't completely slip off but that grip isn't there that I need to make that final move.

Yeah Siam I know what you mean regarding the hand flying off, it actually starts to hurt my hand with the analog, I think that's the opposite reason it was introduced(So that it was easier to play long amounts of time).
