Deservedly so, he's been the media darling.

They shorted Harden at least one year, but it was almost nothing else Garden could do yo win except have the leagues best record and that belongs to the Bucks.

I was just delivering what I saw on Twitter from the Bucks Twitter account.

He is too young to be compared to any legend.

All media has different angles and takes, some media favor Harden over Giannis.

They've both had great years.

Not the first, nor will he be the last.

My point about Harden is, they've already selected their man.

It's kinda easy to see who they want by paying attention to who they're talking about and how.

Giannis has been at the forefront all year, even talking about him being the face of the league.

Even when Harden went insane they were talking about how it's not conducive to win

That's all you need to know.

Its pretty much the exact same theyve done with Steph, KD, LeBron, cant recall if they did it with Harden, and I believe it was done with Westbrook as well.

Im not talking about Comparing him 1v1 with Jordan, duh

Throwing out an obscure statline just for the purpose of putting their names in the same sentence is definitely a yearly thing.

I think it's less that the stat line is meant to compare with Jordan and more so that Jordan was just so good that when someone does have a crazy line he just so happens to be the last who did it.

Another crazy Giannis stat, this is the only 25/10/5 55% shooting season ever. A few players have done it shooting 50%+, but none at 55+%.. Even sorting it by per 75 possessions Barkley and Malone fall a bit short with their assists.

I understand.

I dont want them going down that rabbit hole.

I want to enjoy Giannis for Giannis...not another player with a bunch of jordan comparisons and make no mistake this is how it always starts.

Either way his season has been impressive.. I think Hardwood Proxyism broke down he and Harden's most important stats and who gets the edge.

..but Harden as impressive as he has been this year is not it. Not that he can't be, but you can already tell he lost.

I mean, it was just an even race as recently as a few weeks ago and that was the case for a while between those two with PG coming up in conversations as well. Couldn’t turn on most highlight shows without Harden opening up the show because he dropped 50+ as usual on another team, lol.

Even earlier this calendar year when most people were talking about Harden’s style of play, you still couldn’t keep him out of the MVP conversation.
