What made Michael Jordan was the fact that he always made clutch plays. He came up big when his team needed him. His greatest moment for me when he played with the flu and Scottie Pippen had to help him off the court.

There will never be another Jordan, Johnson or Bird.

he could be close but jordan play so unique stuff he did no one does he could score easily and had great work ethic bron does too but he needs to work on bein able score easiler

why would ppl want to be the next jordan? shouldnt they be themselves and stand out on their own rather than following some1 elses footsteps. they gain more fame and name by playin their own kind of game and being recognized for their kind of game not mjs not magics. i dont see how ppl would want to be the next some1.

The only player I've EVER seen that reminds me of His Airness's electricity is young D'Wayne...

As he got older though, MJ developed a great post game with that killer fade away.

The fact Wade is what, 6 foot?, will hold him back from having a really all round game like Jordan.

Why does everyone compare LBJ to MJ btw? If anything, he's a mix of MJ and Magic...without being a 'clone' of either.

He may be the best ever if he combines the way they developed

MJ was a rookie at age 22. But he also was coached for 3 years by Dean Smith, the best college coach/teacher ever. No coach has produced as many NBA stars as Dean, he's known for teaching fundamentals. Anyway, no one's posted this.

MJ, age 22(rookie)- 28 pt per game, 50 % fg, 2 steals, 6 boards, 5.5 assists. Had Orlando Woolridge, made the All Star team once, w/out MJ. NOt much else talent. Team won something like 22 games before MJ got there. With MJ, team won 37 games his rookie year.

Lebron, age 20(2nd year, no Dean Smith tutelage, or 3 yrs college experience)- 25 pts per game, 49 %, 2.6 steals, 7 boards, 7 assists- came to team that won 17 games(team also had Z and rookie Boozer that year), lost Boozer, replaced w/Gooden(didn't start w/Orlando), got Mcinnis, solid pt gd. On pace to win 45-48 games.

As you can see, the facts demonstrate Lebron is close to MJ's level as a rookie. The anger and debates will probably base around the fact Lebron has more talent around him, despite the fact Z was on that 17 win team and Boozer was lost. Also, some will complain it's not fair to use Lebron's 2nd year compared to MJ's first year. But also not fair is Lebron is 2 years younger than MJ's rookie year, and he never played 3 years under Dean Smith to develop his game and fundamentals. Bottom line is, it is a fact they are very close in TALENT, PRODUCTION, and impact on their teams, AT THIS STAGE. That is amazing. let's not argue about the future, but admit at present, Lebron is easily meeting the hype, and deserves the praise. Otherwise, you're just not looking at the facts.

MJ never had a team like lebron had till he got pippen and grant, those ealier teams were trash with no talents. Imagine MJ with the team lebron has now he would win 50-55 games a year and tat cant be disputed

it can be disputed because you don't know how a situation can play out if it has never actually occurred. Michael Jordan could have won 50 or so games with this Cavs roster (espcially in the East), but he also could have only won 35 games (I doubt it). Michael Jordan was not the passer that Lebron is, and right now Lebron's team skills has gotten the Cavs to the 2nd spot in the East.
