Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Lakers are trying to shop contracts to open up more cap space while trying to buy 2nd round picks. It seems like are really gearing up to try to sign a max player and filling out roster with Vet minimum and rookie players.
I saw someone suggest Clippers sign Kawhi and Horford. That would be a good defensive frontcourt. But obvious issue would be rebounding.
I don't know where Celtics go from this year. Beginning of last 2 years were touted as one of the most talented teams and favorites to win East. To now, top 2 vets leaving and team stuck in wierd place. They have max slot and also 3 first round picks. They have to decide whether to go after a PG like Dlo or Kemba and let Rozier walk because I think he wants to start. Or get someone like Rubio and a starting Center. I also see them trading at least 2 of those 1st round picks to move upLast edited by illwill10; 06-18-2019, 07:46 PM.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Pretty sure they would have to find a way to dump Hill's contract and overpay a bit but Horford to the Pelicans would be a great fit. Gives them the spacing they need and that defence becomes even more scary.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
If Woj’s tweet is right, it not only opens a max slot but allows them to exceed the salary cap as well.
Meaning full MLE + bi-annual MLE right?

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
I don't think Horford leaving Boston would be a bad thing. Dropping $51m in salary between Kyrie and Horford gives them options.
I've been saying for months that they should forget about Kyrie and AD and build around Tatum/Brown/Smart. They should have the space to sign DLo to a max (not sure on cap holds and all the 1sts they'll add). Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
So out side of ad, james and kuzma i dont know who is all on the lakers rosters for sure next year but i would think ad would give up the 4 million trade thing to help the lakers have a little more money to try to bring in more good role guys and i just saw tgis about how lakers may be trying to still create a little more cap spaces stll.

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
There was a report I believe when the news broke that AD wanted out of NOLA that "legacy was more important than money". I mean he's leaving the supermax on the table and going to Los Angeles, was listed on the leaked cast of Space Jam 2...we really supposed to believe that he wouldn't waive his $4 mil kicker and prevent his team from acquiring another important piece? I don't buy that thinking for one second.
I'm really surprised there isn't a running spreadsheet or something of all the reporters (or at least the mainstream ones) and their accuracy % on reports.Comment
