            Unbelievable.

Kobe was going to be damned no matter what he did in this situation, and it's absolutely ridiculous. Do I completely agree with some of the things that Kobe has said or done over the past year? No. Has he made some huge mistakes? Totally. In my personal opinion, has he developed into a Grade-A prick? Yes. But the backlash he is getting these days is absolutely ********. how the hell did he "[not] do as good" last night? He scored one damn point below his season average. It isn't even the worst point total he's had this week. Then again, if he had went out and scored 40, it would have been all this huge "he just used the donations as a front to take more shots!" crap that numerous people were hyping it up to be when the announcement was made.

            You people are ridiculous.

That's not backlash and he did well, but the most important thing is that the tsunami victims got a good amount of money from him and tracy

I love that these players are doing what they have done for the victims. I think it's a really noble thing. I wish everyone in the league would do the same thing that Kobe, T-Mac, Miller, Gasol, and the others have done. And, hell, if you're getting paid more than $10M per year, do it for an entire week. I'm proud of these players, don't get me wrong. I was just stating what would have been a likely scenario if Kobe had went out and broke 40 or 50 points last night. With the current mindset the fans have against him, it would have been spun around to make him look selfish. But, if Jordan had still been in the league, went out and dropped 60 or so on someone, it would have been courageous. My point wasn't that Kobe did good by donating or taht he shouldn't have tried to score as many points as he could have, it's just that there are those fans here -- and elsewhere -- who are jaded and stupid enough to try and make even a noble act from Kobe into a villanous one.
