Clutch Factor - On or Off?
Do you guy use clutch factor on or off in 2K3? I use it off because I dont think it is realistic to have every game close. There are some blowouts in the NBA. Tell me what you guys have it on.Tags: None -
Re: Clutch Factor - On or Off?
Clutch factor doesn't mean there won't be blowouts (I've had many blowouts with it on). It means that at crunch time your superstars will step and make the shots... and your scrubs will choke and miss. -

Re: Clutch Factor - On or Off?
Can someone back this up? What does clutch factor mean? Is it like "Keep scores close"? Is it an artificial handicap? Or does it just mean that superstars will perform in clutch but blowouts are still possible?Comment

Re: Clutch Factor - On or Off?
I'm not in front of my game so I could be wrong, but I think there is a SEPERATE option for keeping the game close.
Plus, clutch situations aren't when your team is down by 20, it's more like when they're down by 2 with 5 seconds left.Comment

Re: Clutch Factor - On or Off?
Every player has a clutch rating and they will perform better with under 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Like if you're team is losing by 3 and Jordan took a 3 pointer he'll have a better chance of making it then he would have in the 1st quarter. I play it with it ON because when I'm up you'll see the CPU's superstar take over and play really well and the challenge for me is to stop him.Comment

Re: Clutch Factor - On or Off?
This is a very good feature if implemented right (not sure as of right now). Several players are rather average all game, but always hit the clutch shots (Horry, Ellie). Then there's superstars that can hit the clutch, and some that tend to choke. A much needed and welcome feature.Comment
