Steve Nash won two MVPs, he was never close to being the best player in the league. Luka will be better than him, but never be close to being the best player in the league either, IMO. The best player in the league can't be a turnstile on defense.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Here is the key thing I've noticed with Cam. And I'm being at taught l straight here. If you put him in a corner and expect him to spot up all night. He's not going to play well. But if you get him involved with the ball. Maybe a pick and roll here and there. He gets into a rhythm. I noticed when he was at Duke the same thing held true. Can't just call a floppy for him. And think that's it. He's good.

I wouldn’t quite compare Luka and Nash, I don’t think Luka is a horrible defender. He’s probably a slight negative, but his size let’s him guard pretty much anyone and they are able to basically “hide him” most nights where Nash was just rarely athletic enough to guard his man.

I don’t think Luka is the best player in the league, but I think he could be in the running for that at some point if he keeps getting better. I think it’s clear he’s going to be an All-Time level player over his career.. Right now he’s so much in that Harden-like role that it’s really hard to tell what his numbers even mean. It’s clear he’s a great player, but the number of plays that go through him he could be average and still have crazy numbers, same with Harden.

I’m sure we will have even more players jumping into those roles in the following years as well.. the more and more the game heads that direction it’s going to be really hard to compare players, especially to past players, when you have 3-5 guys all flirting with 30 point triple double averages.

I got to shout out Derrick Favors. He's played well on this run.

I thought the Pels would of been runned over.

They look much much better with Favors out there.

I’m not sure how Pat gets away with stuff 90% of guys would get whistled for. Most players would foul out within just a few minutes of playing like him lol.

It must be great to be a player like Pat Beverly and be able to mug people to death, get called for 10% of the fouls you actually commit, and have people think that you are a good defender. Clips still gave up 80 to the Pels in the first half.

OJ and I are on the same page.

Agree lol. I thought he was out of shape. He's actually been solid on defense.

“But they took hand checks away and now guys just can’t get touched at all and have free range of motion”

I remember Mario Chalmers was always really good at getting those hand checks in and never getting called for them also.. he wasn’t overly aggressive like Pat, I feel like guys get slaps all over their arm every time Pat plays and somehow he’s never fouling anybody lol.

Also had that been LeBron instead of Lonzo we’d have all those “Bron with that off arm” posts in here lol.
