Dwyane Wade plays with reckless abandon
Anyone think Wade will become like AI?Not in terms of skills, but players who will start declining before they are 30 due to too many injuries(although AI is looking preety good this season)?Wade is in his 2nd season and already has had handful of injuries in his rookie and soph seasons.Tags: None -
Re: Dwyane Wade plays with reckless abandon
Injuries have taken a bit of a toll on him though, for the last few seasons, but he looks great this year.
A better comparison would be Penny Hardaway.I don't wish that on Wade, but with the way he plays,he gets injured alot. They need to rest him for a week or so then start playing him again.Comment

Re: Dwyane Wade plays with reckless abandon
No because the injuries he has suffered this year have freak accidents. I dont think hes going to land on Michael Doleac's foot and roll his ankle too often. As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"Comment

Re: Dwyane Wade plays with reckless abandon
I seriously doubt Dwayne Wade will head to Penny's directions. He's already performing great with injuries, so doubt it will take a huge toll on him. I do think that he should sit out a few games and get healed up to play at 100% every game.Comment

Re: Dwyane Wade plays with reckless abandon
I do think Wade is gonna have problems. If you look at him, he's built sorta frail, not in terms of strength, but his body frame(bone structure), is built slight. He has small ankles, wrists. It don't take much to tweak when you're akles are built so small, and Wade puts a lot of pressure on his joints b/c he moves so fast and makes sharp cuts on the floor. He moves like Barry Sanders, but he's not built like Barry, Barry had thick legs, Wade has a thin body. And Wade takes a pounding when he goes to the basket, whereas Jordan, Kobe and Lebron seem to absorb the contact, Wade seems to get more of a pounding, he isn't able to dish it. I know it's funny, b/c Wade is 6'3 3/4" barefoot ,adn 212 pounds, but he just isn't built like those other 3. I hope he can stay healthy, cuz he's amazing.Comment
