Now I remember why online play just sucks.

First off we go pick our teams, I pick the Mavericks and push start then my opponent goes and picks the 80's all star team. Next where in the game and he changes our camera angle to some screwed up view that's like way too close all you can see is your currently controlled player and like 2 feet on either side of you, so I figure all right I'll just leave it there. Next I'm up 23-8 in the 1st quarter and guess what he pauses the game and leaves it paused for like 3 and half hours. Now the last thing that really pissed me off, I figure all right I'll wait it out I'll just use the old switcher box and and play another console for a while and to my surprise I come back and it tells me to check my cables that I lost my dialup connection, I'm like WTF and it gives me the drop and the loss. That's my great online story for the weekend. After that experience I may just forget about this online crap after all.

I personally will only be playing online when my friends are.

Otherwise franchise mode is much more exciting than playing against some 12 year old kid that'll drop the minute he's losing. And with Xbox Live there will be nothing more annoying than hearing that kid whine and complain, or trash talk you if he's beating you. Uck.

Theres this wonderful new invention called mute.. Xbox live has it too. You can mute one or all players. As for people pausing and waiting for you to quit. Just drop. So it will show you have a drop and a loss. if anyone asks say each one of those drops is a loss to a pause cheater. that way you can get on with it and maybe find a decent game.

thats what they really need, a place to report all these cheaters....I'm sure XBOX live will fix most of these *** holes on-line.
